The End....?
I had a bit of an argument with Thomas (my brother) on Sunday. I wanted to use the computer for the time it took to download ONE song and put it on my iPod and he wouldn't let me (although he had been on for the entire previous day and all of Sunday). He pretty much ignored me, so I went out to the shops for awhile instead...
Later on that night, I was passing him on the steps and shoved him a little. Stupid, yes, but I barely touched him and by then was extremely pissed off. He decided that it was appropriate to throw the laundry basket at me because of that. It him me in the head. There was quite a bit of blood, some holding a washer to my head and a delayed trip to the hospital (mum was apparently feeling like she was going to pass out and she wasn't convinced at first that I needed to go to the hospital).
Four hours after sitting in the emergency room and then a hospital room, waiting, I got 2 stitches put in. Kept shivering (from shock, I guess). And to make it a bit more dramatic, the doc had some of my blood splash up on him at one point. Lucky for him I don't do drugs or the like! I didn't get home til 4:30am and then spent some time pacing and washing the blood out of my white singlet top (ironic, that.. I've never really worn that white singlet top and the first time I did, this happens!)
Anyways, yeah...that was my Sunday night/Monday morning. I spent last night at a friends' place to get away from it, but am just about to head back in an hour or so. *grimaces*
What this means...
+ I'm even more desperate for a place to move to. The thought of living in the same house as Thomas is...well, I don't want to be anywhere near him anymore. Anyone got any ideas?? I know some of you have offered before with that sort of thing....
+ Mum has taken the computer away indefinitely. Until I get a laptop (or she returns it), I'll have to update from the library. That won't be often. It's $4 for an hour and I need all the $ I can get for Christmas stuff and new clothes and shoes.

sgangel, if you'd like to take over scifi_daily for the time being, I'd really appreciate it. Feel free to look into getting more mods to help out if you need it!)
+ I won't be able to complete the ficathons I've signed up for (online, at least). I'm not going to have anywhere to type them up; some of them are half-written on the computer; you get the idea. I'm just about to go around and email everyone about those...
+ I can't respond to comments and emails as usual. For those who are in the Brisbane/Redcliffe area, my mobile number is: 0422 685 791 if you want to text or phone sometime; hang out offline maybe.
+ My LJ is pretty much on temporary hiatus until things get sorted. This isn't the end though, I can promise you all that. As soon as I get a chance to get back on, I will.
