She felt the rage inside of her twist and transform. From innocent ill feelings toward Paula, it morphed into something... else. Something much darker. There was no way to explain it or why it had gotten so fierce.
There was only the way she felt and the insistent little voice at the back of her mind that made her want Paula to hurt like she had wanted nothing else before in her life. She swallowed.
When had she become this person? When had she ever wished so strongly for bad things to happen to people (even if they did deserve it and more)? When had images of blood been what she thought about?
It scared her. And it thrilled her. And it scared her that it thrilled her.
She was changing. And she was getting quite certain that those changes were not good ones.
