YES! Tony completely parallels Mal!!! I totally see it. Especially right here:

Tony Stark: No offence, but I don't play well with others.
Steve Rogers: Big man in a suit of armour... take that away, what are you?
Tony Stark: Ahh... genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist.

Am I weird that I see some of Shepherd Book in Steve? That righteous and pure man with a complicated past, who teaches Tony a thing or two about himself that he didn't realize? Or am I over analyzing the parallels?! SOMEONE STOP ME.
