Ficathons! XD

+ Firstly, I've gotten my sjficathon and apocalyptothon fic assignments back from my beta (*hugs calleigh_j*). I haven't had time to go through them yet, but will try to tomorrow. They're due on August 7-14 and July 31, so there's no rush for either of them. So that's two (almost!) down, several more to go! =)

+ My Jack/Daniel ficathon assignment is due on July 11. I'm not quite done with it yet, but am hoping to get it finished tomorrow or the next day. I'll be sending it off for betaing soon, anyway.

+ My Random Title Generator Challenge fic isn't due until August 1-7. That's lucky, seeing as I've barely started it. I've been playing around with a few ideas, but haven't settled on anything yet. It's a toss-up between: a) a Cam + Vala fic with the title "We Elected Purple Apes" OR b) a Sam/Jack fic with the title "The Twinkling Obsession". (Any preferences on that?)

+ I just received my atlantisbasics ficathon assignment yesterday. It's due on August 24, so I've got plenty of time for that one. There are some pretty interesting scenarios to go with for that one. *nods* Be fun to write! =)

+ I am soooo going to sign up for the sg_ep_ficathon! It looks awesome! Sign-ups aren't open until July 10 or I'd have signed up already. 1000+ words fics based on an episode of SG-1 or SGA. Check it out and bookmark it until the sign-up date if you write Stargate fic! ;)

+ For July, I'm reccing Sam/Cam and Daniel/Janet over at stargateficrec. Any links to fics for either of those pairings would be beyond awesome. I've already got a few fics lined up, but I need more! =)

Nope! Not many ficathons to write for at all! *grins sarcastically* Heh.

So....does anyone know of any other ones going at the moment? SG-1, SGA, Firefly, House, The X Files...?? I'd especially love to do a House/Cuddy one. And is anyone else doing any of the ficathons I've mentioned here?? =)

i know of gateverse_remix, which started posting fic Sunday, and apocalypse_kree.

check out sg1_debrief for a ton of other challenges; I can't keep track. so much great sg-1 fic right now. we so still have a go!

i will be looking for the janet/daniel fic, and i have a weakness for janet/Jack, too, so that will be interesting. one pairing may lead to another.

Also participating in title challenge - no idea at all what I'm going to write. Have to start thinking of something or the night before I'll have a massive freakout.

Also - I claimed something for the schmoopfest. It's multi-fandom, from prompts. I think you can still claim things if you want. I know they're letting people make multiple claims if they finish the first one. Anyway, you might find stuff there for what you're looking at. It's due early August, though, like all the other ones.

OMG, you crazy lady. Now I see why you're so busy. That's a lot to get done. I can't wait for your Sam/Cam recs. I need some because I have a ficathon challenge of my own. I just had to pick them. But it should be fun. Good luck on all this. Look forward to reading.
