You put Hitchhiker's in your book list. WE NEED TO BE FRIENDS!

Here's my info, see if you agree!

I'm actually considering a reread at the moment (followed by reading the rest of the series). XD

Sounds great. Shall add. :)

When I was a kid, my Dad has the stereo hooked up to the TV so I recorded the miniseries onto cassette and then listened to it every day. Then I bought the radio shows on CD when I got older so the first book is burned into my brain LOL. I need to reread the whole series because all I remember about book 5 is crying because it was all over.

Have you read "Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul" by Douglas Adams? That one is another favorite.

Yay, hope you do a reread! Would love to hear your thoughts on the rest of the series!

Oh wow. That's awesome! :)
My story is much less exciting. I read the first book yeeeeeears ago, probably when I was in my final year/s of high school. It was years later that I realised there were more, and I've since been conflicted about whether to reread the first book and then read those I've not yet read, or just jump straight to the unread. Reread it is, I guess. :)

Yes, that and "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency". Pretty good stuff. XD

I started soon after I left my last comment. I'm 15 pages in.

Are you on goodreads (https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/1163915-meredith)?

I found the book on my parent's bookshelf and assumed it was about astronomy LOL! My Mom later made some joke about "42" when I was working on a project and I gave her a blank look and she was like "oh yeah, you need to read this" and handed the book to me. I think that was sometime in 8th grade...yes because I think I have a few free writing exercises from English class that have guest appearances from Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect (I had a crush on Ford even before I saw the miniseries).

And YES I am on GoodReads! I'm a librarian so I use it a LOT to track when I am reading and I LOVE reading reviews by other people because it helps expand my knowledge and then I can tell my patrons about titles I have never read. :) SO, please friend me!

Heh, nice. I can't remember how I ended up reading it. I think I was just reading everything at that time?

42. ♥ (That's our wifi name. XD)

Added back. I don't write massive reviews or anything, but I try to put something up when I have something I want to say. :)

Shorter the better! Easier for me to remember, at least it gives me a feeling about a book, ya know? So if someone is just looking for suggestions I can say "My friend LOVED this book and she also enjoyed other books you've read". :)
