+ I haven't been able to get online in a few days because my brother has been on. I don't mind so much though, because I've been needing a little break from things. DVD/TV, fic writing and sleeping in (because I've had some of those AWESOME techni-colour fandom-y dreams) has been great! *nods* I've got TAFE tomorrow, so it's not gonna last unfortunately. (And I can't skip, cuz mum's got the day off and will be at home! *sulks* Probably a good thing...)

+ I finished the very last episode of Dark Angel (season 1) this morning. It's made of win! I love the ending. It's very...expected yet unexpected. (Yeah, I know that doesn't make sense, but hey!) I wrote another(completely unrelated) Max/Logan ficlet anyway, so as soon as I find the time, I'll type and post it. =)

+ Been rewatching season 3 of House MD as well. Lotsa fic inspiration coming out of that, which is good a little frustrating. House seems to be one of the fandoms I write only half of fics for. *headdesk* I've got at least 5-10 half-written ones sitting around. Can't seem to finish them. *looks for something to bribe feed Jayne (the muse)*

+ Last night, the 3 of us (my mum, brother and I) were sitting at the table for dinner...and she brought out wine. She actually brought out wine. *blinks* I think I'm still a little in shock! I'm not a huge fan of wine, I have to admit. But hey! Mum giving it to us...hehe. We had some fun times there. Giving random things names and all that. We somehow got onto the topic of my fan, 'Jack' and an interesting point about me turning him on every night. I had a passing thought about that when I named him initially, but it's much more vivid and weird when your mother and brother talk about it as well. *smirks* Us 3 have the dirtiest minds at dinner times for some reason! (Yup, that means we're getting along a little better. Hopefully in saying that, I'm not going to jinx it!) Oh yeah. And I didn't actually drink anything until after the crazy. With this heat, my brain is fried already. *drools over the keyboards* Eh...what?!

+ Still been feeling off with the heat. I sooooo want it to be winter again already!!

+ As of today, I'm not taking any more names down for Christmas cards. Sorry! I don't think I can afford many more. I'm stretching as is.

+ I've gotta go pee and then shower now. Will be back in a few, if anyone bothers to read/comment. =)

Glad to hear your home life it getting better. I want winter again too! It didn't get nearly cold enough this year (stupid global warming :p) I bought that long, black Scully-esque coat for nothing! :P

Happy to hear things are better. I read one of your last posts about the matter and wondered whether to say anything. I will say this, the moment I found something in common with my younger brother, something to bond over, helped us enormously. He went from annoying little brother three years younger than me to someone I could actually have a conversation with. Years later, he told me he remembered how it was great to have me talking to him like he was mature near-adult instead of a kid. He was 16 at the time. He went from nuisance to ally.

I think we're going to have a bad winter over here this year, it's been cold for the past month (after a distinct lack of summer.) Hopefully that will mean snow. =D

Aw, season 3's supposed to be awesome for House/Cuddy. I'm only on 2, but the Huddy lj group is all over that season.

Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun at dinner, which is awesome to hear!

I don't wish it was winter, but I hope it'll stay nice and cool...while being sunny. After almost a month of gray skies, i felt really down and depressed.....of course I hate the heat, but I love the sunlight! Blue skies and white clouds make me happy :D
