xfirefly9xNumber of times you’ve seen the whole series (to your best estimate): Huh. Well, let's see... I saw several episodes on TV. I taped those and rewatched them several times. Awhile later, I bought the series on DVD and for the first 6 or so months, I watched at least one episode every single day. Sometimes more. Since then, I've probably watched the whole series through 5-10 times or more. So...I'll go with quite a lot. =P
Number of times you’ve seen the movie: Not as many times as the series. Twice in the cinemas, maybe 10-20 times on DVD.
Favourite character: I have 4 favourites. Inara. Mal. River. Jayne.
Least favourite character: *blinks* Is it possible to have a least favourite character for Firefly?! I didn't think it was...
Favourite episode: It constantly changes. Shindig, Jaynestown, Out Of Gas, Heart Of Gold, Our Mrs Reynolds...hell, I love them all!
Least favourite episode: Since they all fit under the favourite episodes option (above) there's really nothing I can put here.
Favourite quote: The first few that come to mind are:
"They say the snow on the roof was too heavy. They say the ceiling will cave in. His brains are in terrible danger."
"Too much hair."
"Bible's broken. Contradictions, faulty logistics, it doesn't make sense."
Favourite scene: Does the whole series count as a scene??
Your opinion of the movie - love it, shove it, or mixed feelings: Love it. Definitely.
Favourite canon pairing: Mal/Inara
Favourite non-canon pairing: Jayne/Kaylee
In brief, what got you hooked?: The dialogue, the characters, Mal/Inara, the snark (Wash! *squishes him*), the originality and Joss Whedon.
Your favourite theory on Book’s background: An operative for the Alliance. Sounds kinda creepy, yet so many things point towards something along those lines...like his uncanny knowledge of stuff preachers shouldn't know about.
Your favourite theory on Inara’s reasons for leaving Sihnon: That's a hard one. I'm not sure I have a favourite theory. Or even a theory that I really think fits.
Will Mal and Inara ever get together?: Yes and maybe. Yes in my fics and maybe if there's another movie!
Will Simon and Kaylee stay together?: It's possible, but then again, I've always seen their relationship as a bit of a crush. I don't know if it'd be any deeper than that.
Will River stay (or get) on the road to mental health?: She could come across something to make her all better (but even then, I don't think she'll ever be completely sane). That's just me.
