TV...

So...the old TV series are all ending and new ones are coming in. I figured I'd do a quick run-through of what's on...

Friends. I've seen two episodes total so far and I'm hooked. (Yes, that means I've never seen it before now. *nods and hides*)

The Big Bang Theory. Reminds me of Two Guys And A Girl - with a lot of Sam Carter's technobabble thrown in (and multiplied a few times).

"What do you guys do for fun around here?"
"Well today we tried masturbating for money."

"You're not done with her yet, are you?"
"Our babies will be smart and beautiful."
"Not to mention imaginary."

Psych. Haven't seen it yet, but I like the idea behind it. Have googled it and checked a few sites.

Six Degrees. Haven't seen it yet either. Looked it up as well, seems pretty cool.

Other series coming back on include: Bones (Yayz!!), Shark (Also cool - it's got Alexis Cruz from SG-1, Danielle Panabaker from Summerland and Sam Page from Point Pleasant), aaaaand yes...that's about it as far as I know. There'll probably be more new series coming on during the next few weeks.

Anyway, Sam/Cam fic and some pics will be up soon. o_O

Hmm...I'll have to go check the fic out then. 2 in 1, sorta, huh? (D/V and Friends) =D

And I sorta got hooked. So now if it's on- I watch.

Nice!! I'm hooked now, too. "Hooked" as in "completely in love". *nods* Am just about to order season 1 through. (Either that or Scrubs...) =D

Definitely investigate. Big Bang Theory = so much funny.

Likewise...and I already own so many! I'm thinking I might have to sell some of the ones I never watch so I can afford the others. *muses*

Great series, those. Definitely worth buying. (I've got all of SG-1 and season 1 of Bones and they're great!)

Ooh, now getting all of SG-1 might take a while given how pricey dvds are now.
Well it's not so much that as it is all the other stuff. I nearly had a heart attack at the gas pump when I filled my car up.

Oh cool. I'd burn you copies of mine but the dvd burner/cd burner is screwed..

Ahh, well if it takes awhile, it gives you time to rewatch seasons between buying, space it out a bit.
I don't want to drive or learn to drive for that reason. Sounds like it costs a LOT! And I've got enough to worry about money-wise atm. Petrol prices are definitely higher than they used to be.

I think I might even be able to get some of the dvds from the library and just burn copies. I know they have Farscape and Firefly, and hopefully they'll have Bones soon..

I'm not sure how petrol prices convert to the gas prices over here, but it's just so expensive now all the way around. I normally ride with my parents though, so that cuts down on some. Eventually I'll have to start riding my bike more I guess *shrug*

Your library has Farscape and Firefly!?! Wow! Not fair! The one down here has...crappy old movies and stuff. Nothing good as far as I know.

Hmmm...yeah. Petrol prices are definitely higher here than they used to be. I usually just walk places or catch the bus. Haven't bothered getting my learner's licence yet because I don't want to worry about the cost of all that sorta thing yet.

*g* It's a brand new library and they finally got the clue that Scifi= good. They even have just about every episode of Star Trek ever. XD

Oh, sounds nice!! I think they've got all of Star Trek at our library too, but it's all on video. *shrugs* Might hold off and get it someplace else on DVD...

Yup, yup. It's about the only exercise I get (when I don't have TAFE or anywhere to go to).

Yeah, it can. I have sooooo many videos for the stuff I tape off TV and they're always getting mixed up. I should really start labelling them more often.

Hmmm...likewise lately. I've become an almost permanent fixture on the couch/floor in front of the tv since the holidays started. Went out to the shops and then with mum to walk the dog (Honeycomb) yesterday though, so that was good.

I had this elaborate system of letters and numbers that I used to remember what I had on each tape. And then I forgot how it works so I've got dozens of tapes full of stuff I have no clue about.

Sounds fun, Honeycomb's a cute name for a dog by the way :)
