“Scully! Come look at this!” Mulder called out to his partner, excitedly. He was kneeling on the ground less than a metre away from one of the most fascinating discoveries he had ever made.

“What is it, Mulder?” Scully called back, glancing over her shoulder at him. She pocketed her pen and slipping her notes under her arm, ventured over to join him on the roadside. She crouched down next to him and followed the line of his finger with her eyes.

“I don’t see it.”

“Right there,” Mulder instructed as Scully moved closer to get a better view.

“Where?”

Mulder placed a hand on her shoulder and pulled her towards him. He pointed again at the specimen he had discovered. “Do you see it now?” he asked Scully, letting his gaze focus on the curious redhead. He smiled when he saw the expression on her face. Her mouth was agape and her eyes were wide in astonishment.

“I see it.”

Today (and yesterday) I got 20 shiny fanfic reviews! *jumps up and down excitedly* It's the most I've ever gotten over a period of 2 days! Very, very shiny!

There were 10 reviews at my fanfiction.net account and 10 on livejournal (30_angsts; my personal lj; etc), so yeah...

Just wanted to say a huge THANKS!!! to all the reviewers!!! You guys rule! =D *runs around and hugs everyone*

So, anyway, I should go and reply to some reviews now. Since I first started posting fanfics up, I've replied to every single review that I've received. Not gonna end now!...

Will be posting some more fics in awhile too, so look out for them! There's a couple of drabbles for The X Files among them...

Zoe turned restlessly in her sleep, faces of the past haunting her dreams. Sweat beaded her forehead and her hair stuck to her face in sticky threads. She tried to run from it all, but it wouldn’t let her get away. She was trapped in a tangle of memories.

She watched as Wash turned to her and shot her a mischievous grin. “I am a leaf on the wind. Watch how –“ He was cut off as a wooden stake crashed through the window and pieced his chest.

Zoe was by his side in an instant. “Wash, baby. Baby, no!”
