+ I haven't been able to get online as much as I'd like to lately. There are 2 main reasons: 1) My mum (She's gone a little insane with the internet connection and has decided that taking it to work with her where no one can use it is a good idea!) and 2) DVDs have been arriving in the mail! X Files and SGA. Thanks to those who sent me them! (You know who you are) *hugs* You guys rule! Anyway, I've been spending a lot of time watching them instead of going online, so yeah...
On that topic, some of the DVDs (The X Files) - avi files - aren't playing the volume. The first two episodes worked perfectly fine when I played them through initially, but when I went back later to watch more, nothing. No sound. The pictures came up and played normally, but the sound just wouldn't come on. And it's not the computer or the program. Other files work fine with both pictures and sound. It's just those particular ones (including the files that worked perfectly fine before.) Any suggestions on what might've happened and how to fix it??? *hopeful look*

whos_thatgirl's fic, Needful Things (sooo hot! rated 'R'), I think I'm gonna be writing more fic for Mal/Inara really, really soon. If you haven't read it yet, go check it out! It's definitely worth a read. =)
+ TAFE is going pretty well. I have 3 computer subjects (Monday and Wednesday 8:30am - 12:30pm) and 4 communication subjects (Friday 9:30 - 12:30) to complete for my Cert 3 in Business Admin. Starting next week I'll also be doing a web design course (Monday and Wednesday 6pm - 9pm). Gonna have to tape House! *pouts* 8:30pm Wednesday. Torchwood on Monday, I should be home in time for. It's on around 9:30pm. Erm, yes, anyway, on top of all of that, I've enrolled in a few extra computer subjects to work on once the ones for the Cert 3 are complete. Be good when it's all over. Really good. Will be applying to uni soon (for next year), so that'll be the next thing to worry about.
+ I'm loving the Sparky (John/Elizabeth) in SGA season 3! It's soooo good! I'll have to work on some more fics for them soon. I haven't written SGA fic in ages! It's been too long.
+ House/Cuddy? Ditto on the good! Better than good! I have to admit I'm finding them slightly harder to write for than any other characters/ships I've written for. But still! They're great! And I'm starting to ship Cameron/Chase, too. They're just...well, they're cute. And they have the angsty vibe thing going in their relationship (at times) that I like so much.
+ Watching more of The X Files is bringing back shippy Scully/Mulder thoughts. *nods* And I'm starting to pick up strange parallels between Scully and Cuddy (thanks to someone on LJ...who I can't remember at the moment). I love it when that happens!
+ Also loving the Sam/Cam. And the Sam/Jack. I've been rewatching SG-1, firstly by myself, and secondly with my uncle, so there've been lotsa Sam/Jack moments flooding back in. And with season 10 on TV (they aired "The Pegasus Project" on Thursday! XD!!!), the Sam/Cam is inevitable. Poke me for more of "Best Kept Secret"! ;)
+ Of course since I've been working my way through season 1 of NCIS as well, I'm becoming increasingly addicted to Tony/Kate. (I need icons for them, actually. Anyone know where I can find some???) XD
+ I think Gwen/Owen is gonna be added to my list of (big) ships soon, too. Owen is quickly becoming a fav character in Torchwood.
+ And yeah...if you hadn't noticed, I'm in an extremely shippy mood right now! Kinda bouncy, too. Might've had too much coffee earlier... Or...something. *shrugs* =)
