Update - I'm Back! XD

I'm back! Yay! *bounces* XD!! And with my back-ness...erm...being back, I have an update for you all! (Let's hope this being back thing lasts!)

+ For various reasons I haven't been able to get online much lately - mostly 'disagreements' with my mum and brother. I won't bore you with the details. I'm hoping that it'll be changing really fast though. Things seem to be clearing up...

+ I put in an (online) application at QTAC the other day. Actually, that's about the only internet time I've had this month so far, excluding TAFE time and now. But yes. I'm hopefully going to uni next year. The courses I've applied for are all ones I can do creative writing in and my first preference would allow me to do web design as well. Should be good assuming I get in! (Hopefully I'll be able to move out soon, too!)

+ I'm saving up for a laptop. (Or I will be once I've bought the rest of The X Files DVDs before they go out of stock again!) I have no idea what type to get yet. *shrugs* Will have to look into it some more. What do you guys have (if you have a laptop)? Any suggestions on what to get? (I'm wanting something with internet and a lot of space for pics, word docs and possibly Dreamweaver 8 type stuff, but with a reasonable cost if that's even possible.)

+ I have soooo many fics lying around on scraps of paper just now! So many! I took a few pics with my mum's digital camera and will post them as soon as I've persuaded her to let me put them on the computer (which means it could be awhile). Also, I have pics of my room along with them. Yeah...you can thank pixilove66's post from several weeks back for that. ;)

+ Also on the topic of fics, I spent an hour one morning writing. I never write in the morning. And I ended up with 3 and a bit pages of a John Sheppard fic which could potentially turn into something big. I don't want to post any in case it does turn out that way. Once I've posted something I don't tend to add to it. It's a bad habit. But yeah. Weird.

+ I have a couple of new favourite bands! Acceptance (So Contagious) and Breaking Benjamin (The Diary Of Jane - which I totally want to turn into a Firefly fic somehow! ;P). I discovered both completely by accident while trying to find other songs. Have been trying to decide whether So Contagious is more of a Sam/Cam song or a Sam/Jack one. Any ideas? Oooh! And while I'm on that topic, does anyone have any Sam/Cam songs? I've got a very empty playlist on my iPod for them and am looking to fill it. (Same with Sam/Jack, Daniel/Vala, John/Elizabeth & Tony/Kate, actually, although those ones are much fuller) Oh and I'm not looking for downloads, just song titles and artists. But downloads are great, too! ;)

+ The rest of the time I've been offline has been relatively boring so there's not much else to say. If I remember anything new and exciting that's not in this post, I'll add it later. =)

Anyways, it's good to be back! *hugs flist* I missed you guys! =D
