Oookay, I've got another one of those pesky LJ layout/header questions for you all...

Keeping the banner and the flexible squares layout I currently have, I want to change to a different 'theme' within the flexible squares options. Machine, probably. How do I do that?

Back To The Old Fandoms

ZOMG! I'm soooo in love with The X Files right now! I've been watching season 8 - which isn't my fav season ever for obvious reasons, but is still great - and guuuh! The ol' adrenaline rush is back that no other show has ever been able to give me. Soooo awesome! XD

It seems like with the DVDs being re-released, the show has gotten out of the shadows again, which is great. I'm hoping that will mean that more fic will be coming soon! I haven't read any X Files fic in aaages! It's been too long.

I know I'll be posting new XF fic soon. I wrote one yesterday that needs a quick run-through before I post it - and I have a stack of fics from months back that also need typing. But yes. I'm hoping I won't be the only one posting the fic... ;)

Am also finding a renewed love for Firefly. It all started because of a Mal/Inara picspam awhile back, followed by a couple of old vids that I decided to rewatch that had a scene from Objects In Space that inspired fic and...well, you get the idea. Getting back into Firefly in a pretty big way.

As for Stargate SG-1, I've watched every episode of season 10 (except for Unending which I'm blatantly refusing to watch for now - because watching it will mean I have no new episodes to look forward to) at least twice and am rewatching the entire series both with my uncle and on my own - or rather, with redial_the_gate.

I'm stuck on Thor's Hammer a little though for my solitary rewatch. I've got a HUGE urge to write Sam/Daniel for it that won't leave me alone, even when I'm also getting ideas for Sam/Jack from that episode.

Since I'm kind of in a challenge with pixilove66 to write 100-500 word ficlets for Sam/Cam using prompts from drabble123, there are, of course, distractions. (She's doing the same but with John/Elizabeth!) I have the first one of the Sam/Cam ficlets to type up (hopefully later today, or tomorrow).

On that note, I also have a new Sam/Cam header. Not quite what I was looking for since I wasn't planning on changing the actual header yet (see previous post), but awesome all the same. It's made by scifi_tv_addict.

Aaand, it's almost 6am and I haven't slept yet so I should head off. I can hear movement upstairs. *wibbles* See ya! =)

EDIT: Mum just came by and said it's gonna be a computer free day (starting from when I get off - which I expect will be soon) so the fics may be a little later than 'later today or tomorrow'. Might have to go past the library or something - assuming that I can be bothered going all the way down while I'm this tired. Or it could just wait. Just thought I'd say...
