Insane

I have suddenly, for no apparent reason, gone completely insane. Ask luxuria_oceanus, whom I just spouted off at in old English and chased after with a soup ladle. *nods* Yup. Completely insane. (Sorry about that, Ani! *huggles* Some of the wine mum has in the fridge may have played a small tiny miniscule little [whatever!!] part in that.)

*runs off - because the orange peas are back!!* I can see them preparing to parachute from the vent-like...vent...in the ceiling! *pokes at them with a very large stick from far, far away* o_O

NaNoWriMo

I may have decided to attempt NaNo again, despite last years' write-for-3-days-and-then-give-up thing that I had going on. *nods* I had this awesome idea for a fic (about 4 hours ago) and...well...yeah. 961 words so far. I'm going to try for more before Thomas comes in and takes over the computer again, but that's a pretty good start for Day 1.

Anyone else signed up? I know there are a few of you. *looks in the direction of pixilove66 & speckleberry* How're your novels going??

And to those writers out there who aren't signed up (and aren't flooded with exams and so on in November), I have one question. WHY!? You should give it a go, even if you don't think you'll get anywhere! I got 3 pages done last year over 3 days and then gave up and I'm trying again now. If last year is anything to go by, I'll probably drop out by the weekend, but hey! Trying has to count for something. So go! Sign up. Write. ;)
