No internet, no computer and now no access to mobile phone numbers from the home phone. Yeah, that's right. Mum has set things up so we can no longer call mobile phones from home. It's like she's trying to disconnect me and teh bro from anything outside of the house. Which is rather a contradiction since she's said to me about 5 or more times in the past month that we'd both be better off if I moved out (one thing we agree on, ironically enough).
Anyway.
Things have been pretty dull. Job searching. Mission Australia. Centrelink. Uni for my one remaining subject: Creative Writing (I'm deferring the 3 others). Staying over at my aunt/uncles to save travelling 4 hrs in one day for uni. Sleep. Fic. DVDs - but only during the day when I have the house to myself. Avoiding teh mum and brother on weekends/nights by staying in my room and staring into space. Jobs. Mini fights - most with mum since I haven't even looked at Thomas in a month (where possible). Fic. Denial. Sleep. You get the idea.
It pretty much sucks, but I'm dealing. Haven't gotten stressed enough to cry in over a week (though last night? I was pretty close for a while there).
Obviously not having internet/computer usage at home means my fic-a-day-for-May plan got screwed up. *is pissed off and disappointed* I've been writing when I can, haven't missed too many days, but I don't know when I'll be able to type/post anything. Will see..
Fandom-y stuff? I've decided my fav CSI is CSI NY for sure. CSI is second and CSI Miami is last. Will have to see if that changes when I get further in. Watched 2 eps of Numb3rs and am finally getting interested in that. One ep of Without A Trace as well. Pretty cool. I'm loving the crime shows right now. Still waiting for Tin Man to come out on DVD here. I have it ordered, but apparently it's delayed. *pout*
Feels like I neglected fandom for a few weeks there. I mean, I was writing fic quite a bit, but not watching DVDs every day (and taping TV rather than watching straight up)? So not me and that's what I was doing. Glad I got back into the DVD/TV watching this week!! So glad. It's given me a sense of...I don't know. That I'm not alone? Sounds stupid (especially with my wording), but it's like holding onto fandom-y thoughts keeps me grounded or some such. *shrugs* Definitely helping me anyway.
Could ramble on some more, but won't. Gotta type my first fic for
xf_is_love (assuming I have time). Catch up with you all same time next week probably. *huggles*
