+ I saw “The X Files: I Want To Believe” – on the first session on the first day it came out here! Shiny stuff! I’m going to watch again tonight with a friend. Oh. And I completed my rewatch of the series – the day before the movie came out. Yup. Left it a bit to the last minute, but I got it all done. (Heh. 2 weeks non-stop, watching 8-10 episodes a day…definitely last minute.) *is proud* :D
+ I’ve also seen the first season of “Blood Ties” and added ‘Vicki/Henry’ to my ships. It’s a pretty cool series. Reminds me an awful lot of “Moonlight”. Can’t wait to see more of it! Still watching ‘Private Practice’ (Addison/Pete, Violet/Cooper = ♥).
+ I’ve been trying to download vids from YouTube to put on my iPod, but the YouTube ripper hasn’t been working for me. Am I the only one who’s not getting anywhere with it? Is there an alternate way to download vids from YouTube that I don’t know about? There’s a CSI NY vid that I REALLY want a copy of. I think I posted a link to it awhile back in my LJ.
+ Why does no one phone me? I’m always having to phone people myself if I want to talk or do something, etc. Very rarely do I actually get a call from someone else without first having contacted them. It’s really quite frustrating. Makes me wonder about some of the friendships I have with people, how serious they really are (or aren’t)…
+ TAFE and uni have been going pretty well so far. I completed two of the units for the TAFE course in my previous Cert III in Business Administration (Technology strand) course, so I have two less units to worry about. And I’m already half way through the next unit or thereabouts. Yup. Going well, I think. As for uni, I’ve been thinking on ideas for this scriptwriting thing and am considering using one of my very incomplete (but still rather developed) NaNoWriMo ideas from a few years ago. Could work...
+ Am loving the rainy weather, although it’d be nice if it would stop a little while in the mornings so I don’t have to trudge through mud and rain to get to the bus stop, etc. My shoes are really painful to walk in, so I’ve been using a pair of mum’s shoes the past few days (until I can get new ones, hopefully in the next day or two) and she specifically asked not to get mud on them. Ack.
+ We’ve had a neighbour come over around dinner time almost every second night for the past month or so now. It’s been rather fun, actually. His name’s Steve, he has a 14 yr old daughter, and yeah... We met them through another Steve who was helping renovate our backyard and they’ve been visiting frequently since. Makes things a lot easier at home. Mum’s been in a better mood when they’ve been around and we all get along quite well… Plus, free pizza! Always good. ;)
+ Can’t wait for ‘Stargate: Continuum’ to come out! Shouldn’t be too long now… August 9, I think it is.
