Helllllp!!

I somehow screwed up Microsoft Word. I think I may have accidentally saved over the 'normal' template and now it won't open any of my files. NaNoWriMo files and all my fics included. *is freaking the hell out* Anyone know how to fix it?? I'll be forever in your debt. I will give you a piece of my soul if you can help me to get it working again.

+ Microsoft Word still isn't working. So much for typing more NaNo stuff up! I sat down yesterday to catch up and ended up writing zilch. Not a thing. For NaNo anyhow. I have the start of a Buffy fic done though..

+ I'm still going strong with the fic-a-day challenge I set myself in August. Yup. Every day since August 1, I've written at least one fic - or a chapter of a fic. *is proud* On one day I somehow managed to get to eleven fics. All Mal/Inara, me thinks. Have continued it into November, of course and it's probably why I'm not doing so well at NaNo. (Though for NaNo, I've beat my last attempts combined. That was my biggest goal with it, so should I not finish altogether at least I've done that much. Approx 4,400 words on that now, btw.)

+ New Tru Calling comm: avery_tyler. I had a random urge. *shrugs* I might actually write some fic for them one day. Does anyone else ship them? (Or even know them?). My love for the tru_jack comm has risen again too. There've been new iconses added since I was last there! *grin*

+ DVD marathon last night!! Smallville, Firefly, Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles, The X Files, Psych, Buffy and half an ep of Stargate SG-1. Earlier on I flicked through the first two eps of the last disc of (S4) House MD for House/Cuddy scenes. I love the 'review' House gives Cuddy in "No More Mr Nice Guy". Totally guuuuh! *grin*

+ Am getting back into Smallville. OMG! I didn't think I'd ever say that. But here I am. I'm glad I didn't sell my DVDs for it as I was going to. One of my favourite things about Smallville has always been the music. It's usually stuff that I love and stuff that I know. No other fandom has had as much music I like in it EVER. Fic requests anyone? Seasons 1-2 only at this point. (No Clark/Lex though. Am sick of seeing it all over the place in the comms I've been searching.) ;)

+ I want to try watching Heroes but am not sure I want to buy the DVDs at this point in the case that I don't like it. I can't download it with dial-up either, so am at a loss at what to do. No one would be willing to burn me copies, would they? *puppy eyes* I caught an ep the other day after marathoning Veronica Mars and it had Elle in it and yes.. Got hooked on her character. I liked what little I saw of Peter and Claire as well..

+ Am also getting back into Sanctuary. Yay! :D

+ Have been doing a little bit of flist cutting. Mostly those who I no longer talk to, have little in common with any more or who haven't updated in several months. It's nothing personal. Feel free to leave me on your flist if you want or defriend. Whichever works for you. Also if you want to defriend me, no questions asked, go ahead. I'll remove you too. Though I hope no one does. *huggles flist*

+ Signed up at ficfinishing. Because yes, I am insane. Clearly. I'm aiming at finishing my first ever WIP, Realisation. It's a Firefly one, Mal/Inara. I'm not sure if I've posted it here yet or not but it's on my fanfiction.net account. Needs a lot of work. So hopefully by the end of the year, that'll be done.

+ The next episode of House MD had better get here damn fast! I've been having Huddy thoughts every night when I go to bed (not as dirty as it sounds, honest!) and haven't been able to sleep. I end up writing fic for them or watching vids or promos or random clips on my iPod, even listening to my Huddy playlist. *nods* It's taking over my brain in a big way. I'm rather scared actually. *loves them to tiny, itty bitty pieces*

+ Could add more but I think this is a big enough post already. *grin* Will try not to take up any more of your flists..

Victory! ...well, sort of.

Microsoft Word is still screwy as hell and won't work, but thanks to rightxhere I now have an alternate thingy to use. Jarte. I can now access all my files! Yay! *big grin*

Gotta go for dinner now but once I'm back I'll hopefully have time to post some fic. *tackle huggles rightxhere and offers a piece of soul* :D
