My uncle's into this sound meditation type stuff - "Holosync" - and just got me onto it. Been listening to it for the past hour or so now and am so much more relaxed than I've been in weeks. Definitely worth checking out if you get a chance.

I'll admit that I was thinking 'subliminal messaging!' a lot of the way through - you'll see what I mean if you google it/listen to the demo, but it really is good..

But anyway. Is anyone else around?? Comment!spam? *puppy eyes* We could talk about...mud! Or...you know. Something a little less dirty? ;)

It probably was the music. A lot of those calming music CDs have water sounds, like the ocean, or fountains. Apparently it's calming =\ Though probably not these days. You'd just be thinking 'ARGH, WASTING WATER'

Nah...really. I'm pretty good with water actually. Quickish showers and all that. Just didn't occur to me while listening to this stuff. Probably since rain doesn't tend to be something you can actually save if that makes sense.

Nope. Never seen it. I think my bro has that on DVD though. Will have to steal it for awhile when I get back home and hope he doesn't notice. I don't know if i'll get onto it tonight.

I am *so* bad about friending!! But I should have friended you a long time ago! Saw your comment about Star Wars - be sure you start with the first one, but everybody have their opinions about which is the best (and the worst). I've never watched "Saturday Night Live" which everyone raved about for years over here. Boyfriends just kept on telling me SNL jokes and that made it even less interesting.

Moms are weird. I'm not one but I have one (and I have friends who are ones). Something just "happens" when you have kids and perspectives on life just change, sometimes not for the better. You have my sympathy, at the very least. When I was younger (like you ;) stuff my mom said to me really bothered me. Now when she tells me I'd better lose weight, exercise, leave my husband, whatever, I just smugly know that this is my life and if I want to read porn on the internet and not use that time wisely exercising, well...

BTW, my husband's a keeper. He doesn't mind my LJ until it interferes with RL and I can understand that. It's been so hard to get over here this past month, but not because of him.

I think the "do [task] every day" is cool! I'm not much of fandom writer, but in February I did a "write a hand-written-sent-in-the-mail letter" every day. And made it!! I've been thinking about doing it again because my friends and family said such nice things about not getting only bills in the mail. Maybe you aren't still taking fic prompts, but I'm going to post a couple anyway.

Thanks, I actually stole the idea from someone else (mentioned on the actual prompt post). The letter in the mail idea is shiny too. I'd fail at that. I still have Christmas cards to post. *g* Will get to them eventually. Christmas in July maybe. *shrugs* :P
I'm flooded with prompts atm but have never said no to a few more. Prompts = ♥ If I don't get them written for in the next month or so, they'll end up in my folder of prompts for later. :)
