Spoilers (NCIS, etc)

Heyy. So as some of you know I'm not up to date with some TV series, NCIS among them. While for some of them I may not be too excited about continuing, I'd appreciate if people would hold back on spoilers while around me. A simple "are you up to date with [show]?" would be nice before going into detail of even the smallest amount of spoilery info. (Some shows I'm fine with spoilers for - such as House MD - but only when I go out and look for the spoilers myself and have the option to not read.)
I've been spoiled/nearly spoiled twice for NCIS in the past two days. Someone spoiled me for BSG a few weeks ago. I know I can't expect you guys to know what I haven't seen yet and do/don't want to be spoiled for, but when I make posts with spoilers I always label them clearly. People then have a choice whether they want to read or not. Adding spoilers in among comments without giving any warning of their nature is not fun.
