Been looking over what I have so far for getyourwordsout. Current word count for the year is 53,173. I should be at 90,193. I still have a fair bit to type up and add to that, but it's not going to get my word count high enough. Starting Friday I'm really going to have to get into writing more. I'll construct a "to write" list later on.

In the meantime, does anyone know of any big bang type challenges that'll be starting soon? Ficathons? I'll be on holidays for about a month (yay!) so wouldn't mind signing up for something along those lines. Of course I could just stick to my WIPs but I think a challenge/ficathon could be helpful in motivating me to write more. Thoughts?

*groan* I'll never be able to catch up to you! But hey, at least you are getting somewhere. You are actually getting some words in, which is quite an accomplishment! I'm telling ya, I have complete faith in you.

And speaking of ficathons... There just happens to be one going on over at jack_sara and another starting up soon at one_prompt.
