She’s brilliant, my Vera. No other gun quite like her. ‘twas a good day when I got ‘er, too. Sun was hot on my face and back. Could feel the sweat soaking through my shirt. Was going about my way and then there she was.
Was my enemy at first, but I got the besta her owners and claimed her as my own. She ain’t never betrayed me since, even helped me outta some nasty places.
