Summary: Jack surprises Gwen. She wants payback, so does the only thing she can think of.
Notes: Written for faeryaeryn. My first Torchwood fic!

“Jack!” A surprised squeal escaping her throat, Gwen pushed at Jack’s shoulders with both hands. “What was that?” She looked into his eyes, which were level with hers due to her position on his lap and beamed at him.

He grinned back and reached up to place his hands over hers. “Oh, nothing,” he said simply. “Nothing at all.” Without a word, he leaned in and did it again.

“Jack, that wasn’t nothing!” Gwen chided him a minute or so later. “That was…”

He silenced her once more. This time she was able to pull back to protest – although it hit her seconds later that there really was no reason to.

“That’s not fair!”

Things had gotten out of her control. They really had. And there was only one way she knew of that would enable her to get it back.

She kissed him back, before he had a chance to do anything more.

Oh darling, can't you tell? I'm in love with Jack, and after the second episode, I became a squee!idiot Gwen/Jack shipper. -_- Unfortunately, I read spoilers for the first season (we're still on episode 2, season one. I'll see the third on Saturday) and Ani is not pleased, but I still hold them as my OTP! :D And the drabble was lovely, but *sniffles* too short *pouts and nuzzles you*

Oookay, shiny. I was a Jack/Gwen shipper from the start, too. (I have to admit, by about the 5th episode I fell for Owen and Owen/Gwen a little more than that...) But yes, they're so cute together. =D

Spoilers = bad. I'm staying far away from them for Torchwood. *nods* =)

Damn! Only episode 2!? That sucks! *hugs* But yay for the 3rd one soon. "Ghost Machine". Awesome ep.

No, no, I meant that Jack/Gwen is my OTP, I'm just not happy that after they give me that fantabulous moment in episode 2 and just the way Jack treats her (I think he sees a bit of Rose in her... I do see a really nice goodness of helping people in her and Jack admires that, and yup, this is the first symptom of an OTP LOL) makes me go all 'awww' and gaga. And while I have nothing against Owen (haven't seen the later episodes to know much), I'd still pick Jack over Owen any day LOL

BTW, when's Rose in Doctor Who? I've been watching that show for a couple of weeks now, but it's with Martha. Must've missed Rose, I guess.

Yup, you missed Rose. She's from the 1st and 2nd season, darlin'. The one you're seeing now is Season 3. Wow, are you up for a surprise! The actor who played the doctor in the first season isn't the same one used now, but to me they're both brilliant and I love Rose with a passion. So much that I've avoided seeing Season 3 because of it *snorts* but I'm sure Martha's good, I just love Rose so much ;.; and I usually hate blondes.

Hey, if you wanna check out the scripts(transcripts) for Season 1 and 2, here's a good link. It's how I got hooked to Dr. Who and able to catch up with the whole story!

You're welcome! I'm still hoping for the first 2 DVDs of SGA, so Dr. Who is out of the question! T.V. DVDs are often so expensive :( It sucks.
