I've had a sequence of random numbers playing over and over in my head for absolutely no reason at all for the past...I think it's been 3 or 4 weeks now. 5721. Do those numbers mean anything to anyone?

I said something about it to my brother and he told me he'd written those numbers across a friends' game-boy, but I'm not sure whether to believe him or not. Firstly, I've never seen the game-boy, meaning that I have no proof. And secondly, it's not uncommon for Thomas to lie to me. So, any ideas about the significance of the numbers? Or is my subconscious playing tricks on me again?

Anyways, I saw a couple of episodes of The X Files this afternoon. I flipped through The Blessing Way (Season 3) and watched most of Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose (also Season 3). I love that second ep there! It's so awesome! I was recently reading an episode guide for The X Files and it said something about Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose leading up to an episode in Season 6 (or 7?) so that's what got me watching.

Speaking of, I've got The X Files: Fight The Future on order through Sanity, as well as Season 6 Pt 1! Hopefully they'll be here by the end of next week. I'm really itching to see more! (No, not literally!) =P

Just for something different, I've also been watching some of my Dark Angel DVDs that I ordered long ago and haven't gotten around to watching. Season 1 Pt 2, I think it is. I'm up to the episode where Jenson Ackles comes in. When I saw him in Supernatural, he drove me completely insane, so I'm hoping that it doesn't affect my viewing of Dark Angel as well. I gave up on Supernatural partly because of him. (The other part was that I didn't think the show was all that original. I've seen so much that was in the first couple of episodes in other movies and series that it's not funny.)

Uh...school today was alright. As good as school gets. I had a spare first up so didn't have to go in til 10am, which is always good. Had Biology and then IPT (no teacher! Ms Lang was sick and no substite was sent to watch up either!). After that was sport, which I went home for. (Year 12s don't have to do sport in the last term!) And that's about it for school.

I came home, went on internet for awhile, an electrician came to fix the light in the laundry (and cut off the power in the process while I was on internet) so I went upstairs for awhile planning to come back when he was done. Thomas decided he'd get on internet though while I was upstairs so he was on for about 2 hours or something (Grr!) and I was left with nothing but DVD watching (as mentioned above). Not much else to report, other than mum going off to TAFE (she's doing some computer course or something) so we've got the house to ourselves til 9pm.

The final for House is on tonight, so I'll probably watch that (I'm not a huge fan of House but I do watch it sometimes). After that is NCIS which I'm also becoming increasingly addicted to, although not so much as Firefly, The X Files and Bones.

Fanfic-wise, I'm a little backlogged with fics to type up. I just wrote another fic this afternoon while I was waiting for the internet. Will really have to motivate myself to type some stuff up soon. What fandom should I work on getting up first? Firefly? The X Files? Bones? Point Pleasant?

Don't know what else to say just now. I guess I should finish up now anyway. See ya! =)

NOTE: [livejournal.com profile] baf100 now accepts ficlets in all fandoms, although the focus remains mostly on Buffy, Angel and Firefly. Check it out now! =)

It was in the desert that they first saw it. It had been creeping along an outcrop of rocks when they had rounded the corner just to the right of it. At the sight of them it had sped out of sight, leaving nothing behind it but a trail of fading footprints.

They saw it next near the mountains. They assumed it had followed them, perhaps hoping for some food scraps. It wasn’t until nightfall that Mulder was able to capture it. Carrying it carefully against his chest, he presented it to his partner, grinning animatedly.

“Want a dog, Scully?”
