I just saw The Long Goodbye yesterday and I am sooooooo in love with it! It is definitely the bestest Stargate Atlantis episode I've seen so far!!! It was the last thing I saw before I went to bed...and the first thing I saw when I got up and practically ran down to the TV to watch some particular scenes again. And again. And again. (See icon for specific scene!) And I listened to the commentary with my eyes shut (my eyes were only shut through part of it - and only because of not getting much sleep). Anyways, yes. The Long Goodbye is now officially my favourite episode. All who have not seen it should. Now. Yes. Right now! Go! Read the rest of my post later! All that matters is watching The Long Goodbye. (And of course, the necessary breathing and eating thing matters, too!)

Moving on, I had a huge day after the DVD watching. I walked down to TAFE via the Botanical Gardens (I needed to pee and they have a toilet block at the Botanical Gardens). That took about an hour. At TAFE, I enrolled - Cert 3 in Business Applications) - and got my ID photo taken (which sucks like all my other ID photos). About 20 mins later, I walked down to the library and hung around there for half an hour or so before walking back to visit the ex-neighbours of my dad, Mary and Allan. I was there for another half hour or so, talking and catching up on random...stuff. Haven't seen them in awhile. Then, there was more walking! I went down to the shops from there (another 15 or so mins) and dropped in at Kmart (where I bought Season 4 of Angel and a CD: The Used) followed by Coles. Another 20 mins and I was home, where I collapsed and...watched the same scene of The Long Goodbye again! And an episode of The X Files too. Rush, I think it was. It was from Season 7, anyway.

I won't go on about all the jobs and other random stuff that I had to do after, but yeah. Today was lonnnnng! Very long! It's 11:46pm now and I'm tired. I'm never tired at 11:46 normally! It takes me til about 2am before I get tired! Grr! And I'm sunburnt! All over my shoulders and back and face! Grr again! Plus my legs are aching like hell. I must've been out for about 5 hours all up and I spent most of that time walking. Not good. Especially seeing as I'm going to Southbank tomorrow with Pops, Jane and Anna to some art gallery or museum or something...which means more walking. Plus, after that I have a 5 hour shift at work. 5 more hours of standing. Tomorrow is going to be hell for my legs, I'm guessing. Eh, whatever. I'm in a pretty good mood now (not counting the sunburn) cuz I get the house to myself for 9 days starting Friday! Tomorrow is the last day that my mum and brother are going to be here for 9 days and then there's freedom for awhile! Yay! There will be more details on that later, but I should probably go now. Fic writing is needed to be done, I need food and...I...I can't think of any other reasons.

So...Goodnight! (Or good morning, if it's morning where you are! Or...you get the idea) Go watch The Long Goodbye! =)

Again, I have done something incredibly stupid. I've signed up for the Dabble a Drabble Secret Santa Project. If you haven't checked it out yet, it's definitely worth it.

Moving on, ever since I saw the latest episode of Bones (The Man In The Morgue), I have been hugely addicted to Hodgela. As in the stay-up-for-about-8-hours-straight-to-read-fics type obsessed. Which is what I did two days ago. Anyone got some Hodgela fic links??? XP

I'm also finding the Emily/David fics that some people have posted really addictive. I'd love to see the same thing with Morena/Nathan from Firefly. That'd be awesome!

I've been meaning to type up some fics that I've written today but I keep getting distracted and putting it off. Really bad! *slaps self* I need to get typing already! And I'm a little behind in posting to fanfiction.net. I need to do that in the next day or so as well.

Might as well give up on NaNo. I really suck at deadlines sometimes. This is one of those times. I doubt that I'll even get to 10,000 at the rate I'm going. *hides*

Christmas is going to be so good this year! I can't wait to get the Farscape DVDs! Waiting sucks! =P

I might go and try typing some stuff now. Like that Mal/Simon fic I mentioned earlier. Sorry, it kindof slipped my mind...

I no longer have any exams or assignments left! I'm completely free to do whatever I want from now on pretty much! Except for the one more week of school til I graduate!

Monday = normal classes
Tuesday = academic awards night (I'm getting something for that! I'm pretty sure it's for Japanese, but they never tell you, so that's just a guess. I'll find out for sure sometime next week.)
Wednesday = Dreamworld!!!
Thursday = no idea if I even have to go!
Friday = half-day type graduation ceremony.

Pretty cool, huh? It means plenty of time for writing (fanfics and NaNo) and lots of DVD watching and hopefully starting my job at Red Rooster, too. Still gotta do the Orientation Day for that.

Anyways, the reason I was posting. I'm starting up a 'Fanfic Goals and Requests' post. I've actually already started it, but it's now officially opened. Or something. So, if you want to check out what I'm working on or if you want to give me a request to add to the list, head over to the post here.

I hope to complete some more of those requests in the next few days/week(s), so look out for them soon!

Also, if you haven't checked it out yet, head over to my fic community: [livejournal.com profile] xfirefly9x_fic. It's for random challenges on fandoms that I write for (or haven't yet written for, but want to try). At the moment there's a Mal/Inara challenge going on. I'm a little unsure about the format of it and have no clue if there's anyone interested in it, so if you have a minute or two spare, let me know what you think! Thanks! =)

So...I went out with mum an hour ago to pick up pizza. Just down the street from home, there was some guy standing around, smoking with a couple of other people. I had this sudden image of him blowing up and this is (a basic outline of) the conversation that followed:

Me: Hey, what if someone started putting explosive devices in cigarettes? And they, y'know? Blew people up.
Mum: *raises eyebrow* (long pause) Well, they're already killing themselves with the cigarettes.
Me: They should really do that. Get rid of the smokers.
Mum: (to herself) How many smokers do I know? *thinks*
Me: *amused* You're seriously thinking about it, aren't ya?

It went something along those lines, anyway. With a mention of Firefly and the grenades in the apples added in somewhere.

So what does everyone think? Should cigarette companies insert explosive devices into their cigarettes so people will blow up and reduce the pollution to the atmo with the reduced number of cigarettes being used and the smaller number of smokers who are alive? (Surely if a smoker hears about their friend who is also a smoker being blown up, they would quit)...

EDIT: No offense is intended. This was purely me and my mum joking around...

I've had a sequence of random numbers playing over and over in my head for absolutely no reason at all for the past...I think it's been 3 or 4 weeks now. 5721. Do those numbers mean anything to anyone?

I said something about it to my brother and he told me he'd written those numbers across a friends' game-boy, but I'm not sure whether to believe him or not. Firstly, I've never seen the game-boy, meaning that I have no proof. And secondly, it's not uncommon for Thomas to lie to me. So, any ideas about the significance of the numbers? Or is my subconscious playing tricks on me again?

Anyways, I saw a couple of episodes of The X Files this afternoon. I flipped through The Blessing Way (Season 3) and watched most of Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose (also Season 3). I love that second ep there! It's so awesome! I was recently reading an episode guide for The X Files and it said something about Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose leading up to an episode in Season 6 (or 7?) so that's what got me watching.

Speaking of, I've got The X Files: Fight The Future on order through Sanity, as well as Season 6 Pt 1! Hopefully they'll be here by the end of next week. I'm really itching to see more! (No, not literally!) =P

Just for something different, I've also been watching some of my Dark Angel DVDs that I ordered long ago and haven't gotten around to watching. Season 1 Pt 2, I think it is. I'm up to the episode where Jenson Ackles comes in. When I saw him in Supernatural, he drove me completely insane, so I'm hoping that it doesn't affect my viewing of Dark Angel as well. I gave up on Supernatural partly because of him. (The other part was that I didn't think the show was all that original. I've seen so much that was in the first couple of episodes in other movies and series that it's not funny.)

Uh...school today was alright. As good as school gets. I had a spare first up so didn't have to go in til 10am, which is always good. Had Biology and then IPT (no teacher! Ms Lang was sick and no substite was sent to watch up either!). After that was sport, which I went home for. (Year 12s don't have to do sport in the last term!) And that's about it for school.

I came home, went on internet for awhile, an electrician came to fix the light in the laundry (and cut off the power in the process while I was on internet) so I went upstairs for awhile planning to come back when he was done. Thomas decided he'd get on internet though while I was upstairs so he was on for about 2 hours or something (Grr!) and I was left with nothing but DVD watching (as mentioned above). Not much else to report, other than mum going off to TAFE (she's doing some computer course or something) so we've got the house to ourselves til 9pm.

The final for House is on tonight, so I'll probably watch that (I'm not a huge fan of House but I do watch it sometimes). After that is NCIS which I'm also becoming increasingly addicted to, although not so much as Firefly, The X Files and Bones.

Fanfic-wise, I'm a little backlogged with fics to type up. I just wrote another fic this afternoon while I was waiting for the internet. Will really have to motivate myself to type some stuff up soon. What fandom should I work on getting up first? Firefly? The X Files? Bones? Point Pleasant?

Don't know what else to say just now. I guess I should finish up now anyway. See ya! =)

Reposting all of my journal entries from my old lj to this one is taking soooo much time! I'll get there eventually though. I hope.

Anyway, seeing as I'm reposting everything, I guess I should mention that all of the links to fics in the links bar section thing are wrong. They are still the same links as before from my old journal. I have to go fix them up later, but until then don't bother with trying to go through that way. Just thought I'd say, in case anyone was actually liking my stuff and checking out the prompt tables for links.

Um...since I'm here, I guess I'll just add in this. Yup. So, my Great Aunty Dot, her daughter Jackie and Jackie's husband Carl have gone now. We dropped them off at the airport this morning (we were there from about 12 to 2pm) and they'll be at Sydney by now. They're heading home to America tomorrow, I think. It's much quieter here without them. And more free. I'm actually on internet without anyone coming in and out just now! Long time since I've been able to do that! Gotta love it! =)

I am missing them though. It'll definitely be strange for the next day or so, getting used to everything again. Yeah...so, that's it for now...

I've got another 20 minutes before I have to get off, so I'm gonna try get some more things transferred and posted. Hopefully I'll have some new fics to post soon! Until then, feel free to read what I've already got posted if you haven't already. And reviews are very shiny! ;)

I've decided to change livejournal - from [livejournal.com profile] wiccan_5 to [livejournal.com profile] xfirefly9x. I'm hoping to move everything that I've posted so far over to this journal, so it could take awhile, if I end up doing all that. Not entirely sure yet.

Anyway, if you're a friend of my other journal, please feel free to add me. And non-friends are welcome too! =)

I guess I should get to it then!
