Writings

So not too long ago, I decided to organise my folder of writing and fanfic. I put up a beta request post with an insane amount of fics. Most of those got sent out to beta readers and a decent amount have been returned (and the rest I'm hoping to get back by the end of the year).

That desire to tidy up my writing has since grown. I've been posting as much fic as I can (back dating as much as possible so I don't spam you guys too much). I have my folder of writing open constantly so whenever I feel like it, I can open something and post it. I've been posting to both livejournal and updating fanfiction.net (though I'm not sure why I keep my ff.net account any more, tbh, except for being a good way to back everything up).

In any case, over the past two or so hours, I've been going through some of the unsorted documents, which include a lot of WIPs and some finished fics with no header info written yet. Let's just say a lot of work has been involved in the whole process. Yet, somehow it's quite exhilarating, seeing all these words that I've written and also seeing my progress in organising all the files and slowly setting each document in at it's final resting place within various sub-folders.

I came into this thinking it would be treacherous and hard work - and it is - but I'm also finding it relaxing and inspiring. Also kind of scary :P .. and I'm feeling guilty too, seeing how much fic I wrote for some of you guys and never got to posting! I'll have to fix that! (Don't worry! I'll leave you a comment on your lj if I post a fic for you so you don't have to go searching through the masses of other fics.) Back to it awhile before I go to bed.
