+ CSI NY is made of awesome!! (I ♥ Mac/Stella already, after 3 eps!)

+ Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is also shiny. I'm loving the entire series - not just the Summer Glau bits as I (kind of) expected I would. Lena Headley is great and Thomas Dekker? Well, if you've seen him, you'll know. *grin* Am loving the John/Cameron.

+ I need to catch up on the last 2 episodes of Women's Murder Club. The stupid TV peoples put it on at the same time as SCC so I've been having to tape it (along with Burn Notice afterwards).

+ The X Files. XF2 = *soooo can't wait!*. Doggett/Reyes = *crazy addicted*. (they're becoming my second fav OTP after Mal/Inara, me thinks).

+ I need to type/write more Sam/Cam. I've been neglecting them lately (along with SG-1 in general)..

+ Thanks to everyone who has submitted prompts for the Firefly Prompt-A-Thon so far!! I've compiled a list of what you've given me and it's 6 pages long (one prompt per line) and very varied in ships/crossovers/etc!! I'll continue taking prompts until March 3 or thereabouts, so if you want to sneak in with some more, feel free. ;)

Boring Stuff

+ Uni = eh. I'm settling in okay (kinda), but the travel - 1 hr 30 mins by bus either way (3 hrs a day!) - is exhausting and making things a whole lot of fun (where 'fun' means everything but). I couldn't find one of my classes on Thursday and ended up walking around for an hour before giving up and going home. (Does anyone know where F509 is at the Kelvin Grove QUT? I'm beginning to think it's invisible or the like. I circled F block sooo many times, but just couldn't find the right room! *is frustrated*) Moving on, one of my classes (People & Practices, I think it's called) is kill-me-now boring. I haven't done any Creative Writing classes yet. Photomedia is looking really quite interesting. Television I haven't been to yet, because of the Thursday thing.. Will likely rant more on it all later.

+ I had a blood test + urine sample thing on Thursday. I've been putting it off for about 2 months now, but had a really bad night and figured it was time to get it done. (I woke up at 6am with stabbing pains through my chest, got another hour of sleep after that calmed down, but woke up later feeling really nauseous. I've been really tired lately as well - longer than lately. I don't think my late nights (I make sure I get at least 6-8 hrs of sleep every night) is the only reason why (though I could be wrong - I may just need more sleep and to eat better).. *ponders* I guess I'll find out when the test results come in next week.

+ I need to manage my time better. With 3-5 hours cut out of my day just to catch buses (and wait between buses for the next one), I really don't have much time anymore..

+ The letters on the computer screen are beginning to blur.

Yuck! 1.5 hr commutes just suck! My friend did that for one month and then said "screw this!" and moved on campus. :p

Unfortunately, no, I haven't heard that they'll be in XF2. It's all been kept rather quiet though, so I could be wrong. *shrugs* But probably not. *sniffs*

Yup. 1 hr 30 each way. Sitting. Listening to music and not doing much else. It's boring. And I always feel the tiniest bit car sick afterwards.

Yes and no. (I've been on a DRR high from seasons 8 & 9 lately - AND I've been really excited about XF2 as well. They kind of ran into each other in the post. *shrugs*)

We used to have something hinky at my high school - we had a room 18 and a room 20, but no room 19 (or something to that effect). It was trippy. Mysterious room of disappearance got turned into a teachers lounge or something and they just didn't bother to renumber the rooms. It was traditional to send all new students looking for it just for laughs. I was one of the slower ones and didn't figure out the joke till year 11 or so. XD But anyway, purhaps you could call student services. If you're having trouble finding your room, chances are someone else is/did too.

Ugh, I used to think my 1 hour total commute was bad! Well, proportionally, when you're only going in for 1 hour of lectures then it's still pretty screwy. Anyway, 3.5 hours is insane! No chance of you driving? or car-pooling?

Hmmmm....definitely sounds hinky. *nod* And amusing. I doubt that it's the same here though. They had a map in the 'F' building with F509 on it. I just couldn't work out how to get to it. (I haven't yet learned how to walk through solid walls as the map appeared to suggest I'd have to do.) I think I'll send a few emails out; ask around some..

*pouts* Just 1 hour would be bad - especially with only an hour of lectures. I usually have 2-4 hrs of lectures/tutes to go to on the days I go in, so that's a little better. Sorta. No chance of driving til I get my license - and car-pooling's not going to happen as I don't know anyone else going in to QUT from here (and even if I did, the days/times probably wouldn't be the same, so...). Yeah...

I live quite a bit away from uni and there's really only one lot of buses that'll get me back and forth between the two. *shrugs* Am hoping to get uni accomodation sometime in the future (else move in with friends/relatives who live near the uni).

Ick, know the feeling. I commute for three hours to work too. I don't really mind though, I have my breakfast on the train, I do my meke-up, I read the paper and I always have a book with me ;).

No, 1h30 on the train, one way (but that discounts all the time I spend walking to and from the station, waiting for delayed trains etc). Public transport can be a real test on your patience ;).

Hehe, most people don't, although he's been in almost every show ever. He was one of the leads on Due South, but most people know him as Leoben on Battlestar Galactica. But he was on Smallville, Supernatural, Tru Calling, etc etc. Very busy man, him ;).
