Uni Timetable

I've made a few changes in units I'm enrolled in, so this is the most recent (and final!) version of my timetable..

(Changes: I'm no longer doing Australian Television this semester - I'd have to go in 5 days a week if I kept it, rather than just 3 days. Plus I wasn't really interested in it (Australian TV sucks!! :P) and would prefer to wait for second semester to do other TV subjects for my minor. I'm doing Virtual Cultures instead as an elective. Other changes I made were in time allocations. Nothing big.)

Monday

Thursday

KCB201 VIRTUAL CULTURES (9-11am, L101)
KWB101 INTRODUCTION TO CREATIVE WRITING (12-1pm, W Block)
KKB101 CREATIVE INDUSTRIES: PEOPLE & PRACTICES (3-5pm, Z2-103)

Friday

KWB101 INTRODUCTION TO CREATIVE WRITING (12-2pm, N407)
KVB104 PHOTOMEDIA AND ARTISTIC PRACTICE (2-4pm, Z2-103)
KCB201 VIRTUAL CULTURES (4-6pm, B101a)

There will likely be a big ranty post on which units I like and which I don't later on in the week/month.

I'm amazed at the variety of courses you people in Australia or the US can take. Here, it's all boring, only the general subjects, nothing like TV, creative writing and photo media all at the same time. :(

BTW: I ordered all seasons (the superbox) of Friends yesterday!!!! :D YAY ME! xD

Yeah, we have a LOT of variety when it comes to uni/tafe courses!! *nod* I took a year off last year partly because I couldn't decide which course to go with. :P
Be awesome if they could make the courses more available elsewhere.

:) Yeah, well. For the 1st assignment for the class I don't like, I get to research Joss Whedon!! *grins* So it's not all bad. (Although I did sit for 2 hours refreshing the page for the assignment choices for my group to go up.) :P

I took a year off last year and did a relatively easy TAFE course while I decided what I wanted to do. It really helped.

Yeah, I'm sure it did. Unfortunately, you can't really just take courses here while trying to decide what to do. :( But that's the stupid German system which so many people hate...

:D YAY for that! *g* I'm just watching some season three episode, spent the last two or three days watching season two. Oh how I missed those people! *lol* It's amazing. :D

Awww, it's okay. :) I don't have time to read any fanfiction right now anyway because I'll have my first final exam this week, so I still have to do quite a lot for it (it's a presentaion and I'm still missing some pictures and all the audio files). :S So take your time. :)

(Would you be interested in reading over the bits of fics I've got half-written and taking the job of poking me til I finish them? After your exams, of course. ;) There will be cookies! Okay...yeah, I'll have to make a list of my priority fic to write and get onto it. I have most of tomorrow free actually... *ponders* We'll see.. :)

I'd definitely be interested. Well, my exams won't be over till the end of May, but after the first one this Friday, I'll have two wonderful weeks of holidays, during which I won't be studying all the time. :D So feel free to send me whatever you have already and I'll read it during the weekend or next week. :) And cookies are great! In fact, I could use some right now since I'm depressed about my stupid powerpoint presentation where the sound doesn't work. :(

Aww, okay. I've just gotten into CSI NY. Haven't really been able to get into the others. The 3 series just have this completely different feel to them than my other shows. More case!file based rather than character!based I'm thinking (so far). But good. Stella is made of awesome.

Yeah, that's true. But I'm so much more into character based episodes, so maybe that's why I didn't get into it. My father and his exgirlfriend always watched all of them, but they can't even remember the names of the main characters, so you can see it's only casefile eps for them. xD

I see. I don't know much about that one. is it seperate from the University of Queensland and Griffith or what? I know that one of the co-authors of my biology textbook (which is made of awesome) went there.
