Mulder showed Scully a slideshow on their latest case, explaining it all in detail as the images appeared onscreen. Coming across a particularly informative slide, he paused it.
“This is the specimen that the military force claims killed their men. Doesn’t look too nasty, to me!” Mulder stated, half-jokingly.
Scully smiled and pressed him for more information. “You know what did this?”
“I have an idea or two,” Mulder replied. “I remember something similar in an old case.”
“So? Care to enlighten me?” Scully mused, curiously.
Mulder grinned and nodded. “Look’s like a trip down Memory Lane is in order!”
