+ Supernatural (S2) = XD!! The first ep, "In My Time Of Dying" totally ripped off "Audrey Pauley" from The X Files (S9), though! I watched both of those eps last night..

+ I have uni tomorrow and am staying overnight at my aunt/uncle's place afterwards to save travelling back again on Friday. Fun. Well...different. I almost think I'd prefer the travel if only to come home to my own room and belongings and not having to carry extra stuff. Will have to wait and see how it goes..

Huh, I have to say that I've never seen that connection, myself. I love both those shows and episodes, but I don't think they're that similar, except for the hospital setting.

You need a little convincing about how they're similiar? Well. Here goes...

They both begin with a car crash in the first 5 or so minutes.

They both have one of the main characters - Dean and Monica - in a sort of other (between-life-and-death) dimension.

They both have the hospital setting as you pointed out.

They both have something/someone trying to keep them there, in Dean's case, the grim reaper and in Monica's, the doctor who's killing off his patients in the very mysterious supernatural-y kind of way.

Aaand, they both end with someone dying to save them. Dean - his dad. Monica - Audrey Pauley (who I'm assuming died - or very nearly died by what was shown in the ep/what I remember.)

They are still unique in their own ways as well, of course, being different shows with dif characters and motives, etc, but those are some of the connections I pulled from them last time I watched. *nod*

Anyway.

Yeah, I'm loving S2 of SPN so far. I've only seen the first ep, but hey! :P (Am planning on watching more tomorrow or something if I can.)
