Update :D
Am online to work on my uni assignment for Media Writing. I spent the past 4 hours working through it in a notepad, so it's easy going from here. It's basically a synopsis for a short film/tv series/documentary. I've gone with a short film.
What I've done for it so far is an outline of the storyline (rather in depth, but not overly) and character profiles for the 2 primary and 2 secondary characters, including backstory and personality traits and such.
It's been amazingly fun for an assignment, but I'm rather concerned about how it ends up. I didn't do too well with last semester. (I'm thinking that's because I missed a lot of classes due to personal and family related issues - put simply, my family were driving me to the edge of sanity and I wasn't coping AND it was my first look into uni life - a little unnerving.)
Anyway, that's what I've been up to with that. Once I've finished the synopsis I'll probably post it along with the backstory and character profiles if anyone is wanting to take a look. Unlikely I'm thinking, but hey! Might as well post it. It's a tragic ghost story, could be interesting to some of you.
TAFE is going less well, but it's going. I was working on the last section of my second assignment for the current unit I've been working on, yesterday. Got stuck with some database report thing. I was supposed to reduce the info on a report to 2 printed pages. I had 1,600+ pages. I don't know if I messed up somewhere ahead of there to have so many pages or if there's some other way to reduce the number of pages that I don't know about but it doesn't really matter. I'm stuck and have absolutely no idea how to fix that. Might go back over things next time I'm on, see if I've missed anything.
Fic writing has been beyond awesome. I've taken up my Fic-A-Day challenge (from back in May) and have written something for every single day of this month so far. Yay! I even got as far as 7 fics one day. Quite a bit. I think it's the most I've written in one day. Will try to post something of it once I've done my assignment if there's time.
Missing you guys and LJ heaps. I keep thinking of things to post and then realising I can't until I can get online at the library or the like to do so. Haven't gotten past that quite yet.
I ordered one of Bullet For My Valentine's CDs at Sanity yesterday. Poison. They couldn't get the others in. Any idea where I can download them? Am looking for music by Saosin as well.. Am loving the one song I have of them.
Should probably head off and work some more on this assignment now anyhow. *waves* Will try to get online again tomorrow night/Thursday morning at my aunt/uncle's...
