I just hand-wrote four new pages for my NaNo!!
Yay!! *grin*

Oh true. Year before for me, I think. And thanks!! (Though hey! Writing long stuff is not my strong point as you probably can see from all the very short stuff I've written previously. I have a hard time keeping interested sometimes.. *g*)

:D true, you fo fo a lot of short ones. couldnt help you there....i get that though, im not very gppd at longer fics. and i have like 4 or 5 in progress right now...

That I do, yeah. I have about three times that many WIPs tbh. So yes. Much suckage when it comes to the long.

*hugs* yikes thats too many to go through a head. and the thing is i have it practicaly all planned out in my head, i just cant seem to get it written. congrats to those who do that.

Oh well at least you have it practically planned out in your head. I usually just start writing and end up nowhere because of lack of plans. *shrugs* Gotta start outlining fics before I write them.

do you just open up a new doc and type? or do you actually write it down on paper first?

I usually write on paper. I pick a prompt from one of the many tables I have printed out and put into my very special folder, think about the prompt for until a sentence or a line of dialogue comes to mind, write that down and then go from there. I've done it so often now that it just comes naturally to me for the most part. Pretty awesome.

thats cool :) i usually write on paper too. i have a fanfic folder i carry around at school. when i have nothing to do, i look at my list of ideas (surprisingly pretty long) and try to write some.
