Well. Thanks to rightxhere, I'm now absolutely hooked on Doctor Who (S4) and Doctor/Donna. Yup. Will have to try some fic once I've seen a bit more!! ;D

I'm also loving Catherine/Grissom (CSI). And Spike/Fred (Angel).

Oh! And on another note, if you want to request a ficlet for Christmas and haven't done so already, the post is here ;)

what the deal is with Rose and the Doctor!! I feel like I'm missing so much.

LOL I know the feeling... before I started to watch I noticed there's this whole thing with Doctor and Rose going on in fandom. But then I watched and now I know. *sniffle*

But anyways.

The show is awsome so if you have time give it a try... and like I said, even though I'll always love Rose best, Martha and Donna are also brilliant! All of them unique in their own way. Anyway, Doctor only pickes the best. *g*

It's not a matter of whether I have time. I do. I really do. I just.. it's so damn expensive to get Doctor Who here! It's about $90-$100 per season. And that's only about 12-13 episodes a season!! Sadly downloading is out, too. Dial-up doesn't like it.

I'm on dial-up, too. But thankfully I know many people who were more than happy to spread DW love... so we got together and a friend borrowed me her DVDs.

Yeah, it is. I'm thinking maybe I'll buy the first season with Christmas money. I get $50 from Pops every year and usually get bits here and there from other relatives so I think that'll be enough there.. And I'm definitely interested enough now to get the series, so I know now it won't be a waste. Always good knowing that.

Ohhh, you're so lucky! I wish I had friends in RL who I could get fandom-y with. I guess I do sort of, but they're not obsessed in a crazy!OMG!must!have!more kind of way. That's what LJ comes in use for. :P

Yeah, that's one of the perks of living in a small country. We have one big SF forum and since the country isn't all that big we always manage to meet from time to time and exchange fandomy feelings, discuss, or even get together at somebodys and have mini-marathon-watching (that's usually SG-1, although now we're planning something for Atlantis *g*).

Another plus is that many of them live/work/study in the capital like me, so I get to have coffee with some of them pretty often. I gotta admit I made many friendships coz of Stargate.

Plus, my sisters are equally fangirly as me.

So yeah, I never get bored on that front. :)

My two best friends, however... totally don't like SF. Like... AT ALL. I have "normal" conversations with them. *g*
