1GB is 1024MB.

Thanks!! That's exactly what I was looking for. I just did the maths and assuming I'm not too fuzzy minded from lack of sleep and worked it out correctly, it's about 198GB a day for a 31 day month. So I'm going quite well with it so far, I think. :)

I've been avoiding sites like YouTube and excessive graphics/music in the background, etc already for fear of using up the internet just with that. Gmail and LJ are my biggest hangouts anyway. And fanfiction.net on occasion, too. Looks like I'm safe continuing on how I have been. (Oh, and I'm using IE. Haven't installed Firefox on here yet and am not sure if I will yet.)

Okay, glad I was able to help then. Are you downloading tv shows? Because they will take much more than that. If you download them fullsize, they're about 350MB each.

Yeah, that should work. (Oh, never mind me then. I've been telling people to get Firefox for months now, just because it's faster and a LOT safer, but it's your choice, really. Whatever you're more comfortable with, especially when you won't need that addon.)

I'm not downloading TV, no. Or I haven't yet at least. I might save that for when I can use the wireless at my aunts' place. I'll suppose if I do download anything it'll just be 2 days worth of internet used up.. *ponders* I guess I'll see how things go.

Good, good. (I actually like Firefox a lot more than IE, but taking the space on my laptop into consideration, I don't know.. I might just clear out some other stuff - games that I don't use and so on - and put Firefox on instead. I haven't heard before that it's safer than IE. I've been told the other way around though. *shrugs*)
