Have been listening to a random radio station for the past few hours. A guy came on awhile ago and he was talking about religious type stuff. The funny? I wasn't listening too intently to what he was saying but the words "aliens" came up as did "while we're on this Earth" and also several mentions of "blood". Sounds more like some kind of cult than Christianity. :P

(No offense intended btw. It's just this guy combined with my selective hearing and lack of sleep.. *smirk*)

Reminds me, there's also an ad on the same station that I'm in love with. It's for pest control and after the usual talk about killing pests, some guy says "will it hurt my cat?" to which a second guy replies "no, that'll cost extra." Bad, I know, but it gets me every time.

I often wonder how things like that come across. I can think of at least one legitimate, non-wacko reason to mention all those things, but I have to admit that the "aliens" did take even me a moment. *g*

When thought is put into it, I can find the non-wacko as well but taken at face value.. ;)
