+ I just received a text message from the Australian Talent Management which I put my name down at the other day out of boredom (and a slight case of stupidity). They want me to call them to talk about some extras work. May actually do it. As long as there's little to no talking involved, preferably no talking... why not? Will think on it some more then call (or not) for more details. If anything I might be able to make some connections with that which could help with getting into scriptwriting. *shrug*

+ I have absolutely no idea what to do over the next few days. I mean, I do, but there's so much to do. Lots of travel, going places 3 hours apart. I don't want to tire myself out. I think I may have said I'd meet up with Luke this weekend. I have to get mum to sign some papers for me (Centerlink stuff). I've been saying since last week that I'd be going to Rebecca's for a few days. TMI to work with!

+ So I did it. I dropped Film History. I'm probably going to regret it in that I'll have to do the whole Centerlink / job search thing, but.. whatever. It's been stressing me out too much. I don't need it for my course. I'm behind in it with assignments, etc. It makes sense. If I'm moving out I'll really need to get a job anyway so this can only help with that. Right?

+ Been slowly making my way through typing up my 'fic pile of doom'. Hopefully I'll be done either today or tomorrow so I can put up an accurate word count at getyourwordsout. I'm at about 37,000 or so words for the year so far. I should be up to about 60,000. A fair bit more to type and then I'll be calling for word wars again to catch up.

+ Posting fic soon. I feel like my LJ has gotten out of balance with RL and fandom-related posts.

Seriously? It's that easy to get work? I- it's not the way the world's supposed to work! You didn't have to spend hours prettying up a resume or anything, really?

I don't mean to sound like I'm not happy for you if you decide to do it, because it sounds like fun. ;D But DAMN.

Yep, seriously. Check out the link if you want to give it a shot. Takes 15 mins at most to fill everything out. I did have to put a resume in; I just used an old one, updated a bit of info on it. Got the text message 3 days later.

Masterlist post? I'm assuming you mean my fic index (http://xfirefly9x.livejournal.com/345605.html)? Already done. it's a constant WIP. The 'fic pile of doom' is a folder full of handwritten fics that I need to type up.

Dropped the unit, yep. It's one that I don't need to complete the course and I can still complete the course in the set time constraint so it makes sense to drop it. Little less to stress over.
