I love Joss Whedon. I'd be prepared to have his kids after this episode - and I don't even want kids.

Claire. Or not. One of my favourite characters is not actually one of my favourite characters, but rather some old doctor guy stuck in the body of my favourite character? Is that the best way to put it? *worships and wants to slap Joss at the same time* The way Topher was looking at her and the way she found her file in his computer... wow. I needs to see more of those two. Seriously. (Speaking of.. Claire/Topher. If that was to happen with Claire in her/his current state, would that make Topher gay? Or straight? Or... lol I dunno.) ♥

Echo and Alpha. Their battling, mentally and physically, was amazing. So many things brought up whether in words or subtext.. the ethics of what the Dollhouse has done to them, their humanity, etc. So very thought provoking. Who is right? And the beating each other up thing. Hot. Weird that Alpha didn't seem to realise that of all Echo's imprints at least one may have the possibility of being a bad ass fighter. He appeared a little surprised when she fought back? Or was that just me?

Paul and Boyd. Win. Same wave length, it seems, when it comes to their thoughts on the Dollhouse. Of course Boyd has come to the realisation/decision that it's better to keep the Dolls safe on the inside rather than trying to break them out and fight for them the way Paul has been. Paul.. well. Obsessed is one word that comes to mind. I've been curious about why he cares about finding Echo/Caroline so much. If he was more focused on the Dollhouse itself I'd get why he's gone to so much trouble, but mostly Caroline? It seems like he'd have given up by now or handed the case off to someone else (while he was still 'employed'). Unless there's some personal connection there that we don't know about.. *ponders* Any other theories?

Adelle. Again awesome. More of the thought provoking bits with her and Paul and Boyd.

Victor. *hugs him* Poor guy.

Sierra. Cool, but I wish there'd been a bit more of her.

Mellie. *grins* Was soooo good to see her get out. Assuming of course that it's not just some pretence or front for fooling Paul into thinking the Dollhouse is as honourable as they say they are.

dude Alpha put about 50 kinds of assassin in Echo...he was stupid to be surprised but he definitely was XD...but ECHO ROCKS

I don't think Claire is a guy so much as his personality made feminine...I think they took his knowledge and made her...and it was easier to keep the name for the dolls...but thats just my opinion...I wondered what part she would play in this whole ordeal...crazy how it turned out...DOLLS ARE EVERYWHERE!

I'd entertained the notion of Claire being a doll for a very short time during the beginning of the season, and seeing that I was right still made me go OMGWTH?? LOL.

Hm, I think Claire is part Topher's. He made her personality. And, oh hell, I've got so many ideas on why he made her hate him.

Alpha indeed didn't look like he expected his Omega to disagree with him. That's the thing, man... Deep down, you're a psycho, she's not.

Ah, I really do hope we get a second season... and knowing how Joss has a knack for getting better and better... *day dreams*

I think Paul may have lost someone - sister/girlfriend or something - and Caroline somehow reminds him of her so he's fueling it though his past failure? Maybe....

there was just so much awesome

and it being mellie/madeline that he asked for the freedom of instead of caroline? *loves* - but yeah- like you - am hoping it wasn't a play *crosses fingers*

dollhouse was a slow burn to begin with - but the last few eps *loves*

I LOVED Saunders not being Saunders. That was a mind blow. IT WAS AWESOME. and how she really got the scars and all that. and how alpha knew of echo.
i just want to know how saunders didn't realize (he) was in a woman's body until...then...like...weird. right? and the whole dominic saying to saunders "whiskey please" and her going "he wants a drink" IS SO MUCH WOAH
i think he seemed surprised because he thought she would be on his side. at least that's my wonderings.
how is ballard going to work for the dollhouse? as a handler? and i don't get why he rescued mellie....after all this time of wanting to get caroline.
and the whole "caroline" at the end...oh so mean
and poor victor getting all yelled at after he got slashed up :(

Awwws. I have all but the 3rd ep still in wmv format. Think I have ep 3 in iTunes but it's not my fav so that's okay. Def need to rewatch. Can you get copies off a friend if you have any RL friends who watch?

My friend has them all -- on her DVR and she's at work until the end of the summer so I can't really break into her house to watch not that that's crossed my mind or anything

I was thinking it'd be Echo too, but then I wasn't sure.. It seemed a bit obvious. So Claire. Wasn't entirely a surprise there for me.. The rest though.. yeah.

That's an interesting thought. Same notion here. Someone said maybe that's why he made her hate him. He knew her/liked her.. it would be easier for him if she hated him.
