Update

+ Doing a bit of morgue/autopsy research. Way cool. I'm not going into any amount of depth, just looking at tools used and a little terminology. It's to make me sound smart in the short story I'm writing. :P

+ Almost finished the first short story. I have 300 words more to go. Am up to the part where I need to start closing things down, driving the point in. I was planning on making it a not happy but at the very least a hopeful ending. Now that I've reached this point however... no. It needs angst and rejection and walls built higher than ever before. Anyone want to beta? *puppy eyes* I'll need it back by tomorrow night so I can make any changes and bring it into uni on Wednesday. Once finished it'll only be 1,000 words.

+ I've now watched the pilot episode of Castle five times. Am starting to recite lines over in my head as/before it happens onscreen. I ♥ this show so. damn. much.

+ CSI NY. I watched 3x04 "Hung Out To Dry" last night. Wow. That was one intense ep! The headless girl in the fan and the guy with the spikes through his eyes.. I actually felt a bit nauseated watching. It's not many shows that can affect me like that and intrigue me and make me want to watch more all at the same time. Danny and Lindsay were cute - as were Mac and Stella, of course - and I'm intrigued to see their relationship develop more.

+ Still giddy over show renewals. I expect to remain so for some time. *bounces*

+ More fic on it's way. Think I'll go for some SG-1 and SGA fic this time. :D

I got to see an autopsy!! It was INTENSE! I can beta, but it's mostly for grammatical stuff. Generally I can do pretty well with stories.

Going to be a bit longer than I thought with sending it out.. I'll be sending it to a few people so if you can't get to it before I need to take it in, I'll have back up. Will be great to hear what different people think of it; what gets picked up.

Oh, and harsh is good. The harsher the better. Seriously. Uni students can be evil with their critiquing and grading can be rough too, so if I can get anything no matter how small sorted before it goes in that'd be awesome. :)

Intense and insane. Hmm. Well. I've seen a partial autopsy.. of a sheeps lung, I think it was. I can only sort of understand that.. ;)

If you need anything else, I wanted to become a pathologist (hnce my email addy) ... so ya, I'm a bit morbidly strange, and facinated by the whole thing. :) At one time I was even talking to a Pathologist when I was in High School.. not in contact anymore, but I can walk in back of my house and ask the funeral director.

Shiny, well I'd definitely be better off having two (or more) betas for this, so once I'm done I'll send it your way. Any advice on things I could add with that sort of thing or things to change would be beyond helpful. And go as harsh as you can for it. Rip it to bits. If there's a sentence you see that sounds maybe a bit awkward, point it out. If you have to read a sentence over more than once to understand, that too.

Ah, research. that's what make people at school find me weird. i do the same kind of research you do sometimes, or I bring a Criminology book in class, because.. well... classes here... We have everything on the e learning anyway.

I like that. It's fun, but it takes a hell of a time!

When I do get it to you, go as harsh as possible please? *puppy eyes* Forget the fact I have feelings and rip it to shreds. Awkward sentence/sentences that need to be read twice or don't flow well. The usual grammar/spelling. If there's a better word could be used somewhere, that's good too. I'm on first draft stage so there will be another draft or two after this as well.. *smooshes*
