NaNoWriMo Update

I'm only up to about 2000 words on NaNoWriMo. It's mostly because I've been focusing on getting my last 2 assignments finished for English and Ancient History. (Or in the case of the latter, avoiding doing it!)

I wrote most of the 2000 words that I've got done on Day 1. I added in some description on Day 2. I didn't get a chance to write anything on Day 3, 4 or 5 (don't know why!) and I was stuck for ideas a little around then anyway. I've finally got myself a plan written up though and I know pretty well where it's headed. And I only have to go to school on Monday and Thursday this week for exams and then the week after that and I'm free for the rest of the month!

Here's a general idea of what it's about:

Megan Hart receives a phone call from the mortuary, asking her to come down to ID the body of her sister, Jayne. When she gets there, the body appears to be her sister, but Megan notices some magickal symbols marking the body and also Jayne's 'signature'. Believing that her sister is, in actual fact, alive, Megan sets on a mission to find out what happened to her. Will she find Jayne? And what truths will she uncover?

Okay, so that's all you're getting for now! I'll be posting what I end up with at the end of the month, maybe a few spoiler-y type posts here and there. I guess I should go write some more now! Or...maybe sleep...

Google alerts is a feature of Google, which allows you to put in a search term and will send you an email alerting you if something new is added to the results.

My name is Megan Hart. :) So, when you posted your entry, the next time Google did whatever it was doing, it alerted me there were new search results for my saved search "Megan Hart" and it gave me a link to your post.
