I'm at uni at the moment, one hour into a 3 hour break between classes. Sooo fun. /sarcasm

It has gotten me into productive!girl mode.. which is the only positive thing about having 3 hours between classes!! In the first half hour I wrote 2 fics (one River and one Angel/Cordy-ish) and in the second I discovered how to connect to QUT's wireless. Yay me! I never could work that out before. Something wasn't working right when I last tried.

Aaanyway. Before the bored, I had my first Strategic Speech Communications tutorial. It wasn't as terrifying as I expected and the tutor seems pretty cool so far. Will have to see how it goes in future.. After this break I have 3 hours of Television's Greatest Hits. Pineapple. It's an okay class.. a lot of sitting and numbness and lights being turned on and off and clips of stuff being shown and rambling from the lecturer facilitator. So. Long day.

Funny... On the walk to the bus stop this morning and even now I've been tempted to sit down on the side of the road or wherever I am and just sleep. My eyes are dry and I'm sooo damn tired. This and I went to bed at 1pm or so and slept til about 9:45am. WTH? I've been less tired on less sleep before! Wonder how I'll be for my 8am start tomorrow..

Yesterday was long also. 1pm to 8pm. One hour less than today, granted, but it was more full on.. 3 classes with 2 hour long breaks between. I'm loving the Web Design so far. Basic html has been touched on so far and yeah.. It's good. The class before the lecture and tutorial for that was Film & TV. Interesting enough.

I shall shut up now as I'm probably boring anyone who has gotten through all this. Also if you didn't notice, I wrote "pineapple" randomly halfway through. Just ignore that. It's a side effect of the melting brain.

I've just come back from uni after a one hour lecture and then a three hour lecture. I am NEVER going to the three hour one again unless I have to. It was seriously the most boring thing ever. It's supposed to be a law course, but it's all... soft science at the moment.

Icky! You're lucky though if it's a lecture you can skip. My Monday lecture they actually take role for. Tuesday, it's a lecture for an Independent Learning class so I don't have a tutorial for that one and need to go to it. Wednesday.. Writing & Publishing at 8am.. stuff I want to know about and go to. Argh! Sucky 8am! Aaand Thursday.. well. I could possibly skip that but then my aunt would probably take it as me having something wrong or the like and try to talk to me, see what's up. Can't just be "it's boring and I don't wanna go", can it? Meh. Anyway. I'm rambling..

Law.. soft science. What would that be? I have no clue when it comes to taht sorta thing.

Yeees, Mulder and Scully is awesomeness. It was a really interesting lecture...I wasn't zoning off, my brain was just making amusing connections. It was awesome.

Oy, lectures can be very tiring. I used to have to stab myself with the slightly sharp end of a pencil to keep myself awake sometimes.

Of course my lectures were all during high school and usually regulated to boring ass crap that was the norm for high school. Planning on going back to school (next year, most likely/hopefully) and will have to deal with some of the same. Watermelon. And you're not boring me, I'm just bored at the moment. Thinking of joining an RPG comm as River and procrastinating like mad.

On another note I look to forward to reading the River fic. In the meantime I'm heading over to your fic comm to catch up on some of what I've missed. ♥

The RPG is a crossxover. They don't have any Firefly characters yet and with the type of RPG it is River is like the perfect choice. (Or Jayne, but I'd prefer to play a girl...since I am one. Hee.) It's hells_gate_pen, obviously horror related. It's the first one I've ever really been interested in.

I'd offer to help with the typing but we run into the same problem you've already gone over with someone else--you'd have to type them up to send them to me to type up, which defeats the whole purpose. LoL. Just take your time, try to pace yourself.

I don't think large buckets of water would be permitted on campus, but you could always give it try. The rubber-bands might work better, they come in many pretty colors too. ♥ I have a bag of multi-colored ones, all bright neons.

I usually do too, I have the attention span of a knat sometimes. But long term fic is getting easier for me, it just takes awhile to write. I've never done RPG before, well except like World Of Warcraft and The Sims--but they aren't really the same thing.

Definitely long days. :S About 8-9 hrs on Mon, Tues and Wed. Only 1 hr Thurs and that's it for the week though. Only ded a little under half the week as a result..

The classes are quite interesting. Except for maybe the TV's Greatest Hits one so far. I blame the lecturer for that. And the fact it's game/quiz shows so far.. and news. Doesn't get fun til week 6 (adventure/sci-fi/drama/etc then). 3 hour class can't be helped as that's the only class for that uni. No tutorial, it's an Independent Learning one. *sigh*

Yeah, continuous would be good. Better. Though I don't mind hour long breaks, so even if it was just that. 3 hours is just too much.
