"Admit it, Mulder," she says firmly. "You couldn't keep your eyes off of her."

"No, hey! I only have eyes for you, Scully," Mulder protests. "Only you."

She shakes her head in disbelief and crosses her arms over her chest. Her lip juts out.

"Really, Scully. I wasn't looking at her."

" What were you looking at then?"

He remains silent.

"Mulder!"

"Fine. Promise me you won't laugh."

"Sure. Fine. Whatever. Just tell me."

"Promise me."

"Okay, I promise."

He clears his throat. "I...uh...was looking at her dress."

"Her dress? Why?" Cautious. Sceptical.

"I was imagining you in it," he says, ducking his head. His face flushes red.

"You were?"

He nods.

"Mulder! That's so sweet! But the day I wear pink is the day the world ends. It's really not my colour."

She very nearly goes back on her promise and laughs when she sees the disappointed look on his face.

"Then again," she adds, "if it means so much to you..."

He looks hopeful and she smirks. "It's still a 'no'."
