In 2009, xfirefly9x resolves to...

Give up writing.
Eat more Malcolm Reynolds.
Ask my boss for a castle.
Pay for my blood ties on time.
Tell my family about pineapples.
Keep my angel clean.

OMG! HELL to the NO in regards to the first bit there! I could do that as well as I could give up air. The rest though.. HEE! I could do that. Though it would be in a non-cannibal way for eating Mal. XD

Oh I tell my family about pineapples all the time already. Seriously. On facebook, I'm known to randomly message my brother for no reason with "pineapples" and nothing else. *nods* So that's not weird at all for me. :P

Telling the family about pineapples is nothing new. Can't think of a topic? I usually jump in with "pineapples". It's a thing. Used to be "pinecones". And before that, "cheese".

I had a boss for 4 weeks, he told me I was doing a great job, I was finding loads of info he could use - then he fired me because I wasn't giving him enough feedback... I think he just used me for research personally!

I had a boss for 6 months.. and then I burned my hand and quit. Gotta wonder if I'd still be there otherwise.. Hmmmmm.

Lol. In my case idiot applied. She wondered why I didn't tell her straight away when I burned my hand in the oil. *headdesk* Me thinks I was somewhat preoccupied with the pain and getting it under water - a move which the doctors said definitely was the right one to make as if I hadn't put water over it, things could have gone worse with it healing. So. Yes. /rant.

I don't recall answering. I think I was too busy trying to keep it cool and not burst into tears (a thing which I managed rather well. There were no tears til I got home and the burning feeling just got to be too much. Seriously. Burns. Worst thing ever.) The boss did comment on how brave I was with that actually. Said she'd have been crying from when it happened. So that was something.

I probably would have been crying too. I can survive giving birth, but burns are a whole new level of pain! You are brave :D

Nawww lol. I just didn't want to cry in front of everyone. I'm very private with my emotions. I suppose.. face contorted in pain, not so private.. but you know. I made it through leaving the store to the doctors without tears and all the way back home, so I did get that much out of it. I think having people around and trying to keep the tears in helped in that it was a good distraction, now that I think about it. Hmm. As for brave? I'm not sure that's the word I'd use. Maybe stubborn? lol
