Only Feeling
His lips move against hers in a passionate frenzy of lips and teeth and tongue. She can feel his hands, one tangled in her in the tresses of her hair and the other firmly on the small of her back, pressing her against him.
She feels his mouth move to her neck, trailing down to the curve of her shoulder and back up again, his tongue seeming to burn her flesh in a more pleasurable way than she ever thought possible.
When his lips meet hers again, she can feel his hands move to her hips, creeping under the hem of her blouse to rest on her pale skin. They slide around to her lower back once more, sending shivers up her spine, as he pulls her even closer than they were previously, if that was even possible.
One hand moves to her chest, cupping first one breast, and then the other. She can feel his deep, guttural moan against her lips as his hands slide down her stomach, moving lower…
Temperance Brennan awoke in a sweat, shaking and breathing deeply. Though she was now conscious, she still felt as though she were in her dream. She sat up quickly, running a hand through her tousled hair and staring into the darkness as she tried to forget how his mouth moved against her own and how his skin felt beneath her fingertips. This wasn’t the first time she’d had one of these dreams, if that’s what they were even called.
These certainly weren’t the types of dreams she was used to. In these, unlike the others, there was no sight.
Only feeling, both physical and emotional.
Despite fact that she couldn’t see the man before her, she knew exactly who he was.
And that scared the hell out of her.
