Fic: A Very Manly Colour (Fred/Wesley)

Summary: The bunny won't let them leave.
Notes: Written on 9/08/09. Crack!fic.
The bunny won't let them leave. Its fluffy pink paws form a cross above it's head and beady eyes glare at them as if daring them to challenge it. Neither of them is crazy enough to take that challenge up. While they could take the bunny on easily it would mean getting it's bright colour transferred over to their own skin. They don't want pink skin.
Or so Fred thinks, until Wesley takes a step forwards. "What are you doing?" she asks. "Do you want the pink bunny to turn your skin pink too?!"
"I happen to like pink," Wesley responds. "It's a very manly colour when worn by the right person."
"And you think you're the right person?"
"I am. Yes." He puffs his chest out proudly and gives a short nod.
Before Fred can ask him if he's off his meds - or alternatively if he found the little green pills Angel stole from his latest conquest - Wesley dives forwards at the bunny. The bunny squeaks and Wesley's hands tighten around its throat. "Die, bunny! Die!"
The bunny doesn't much like being told to die and so curls up into a ball and pretends to be asleep giving Wesley the chance to plunge a rubber ducky, the first weapon he is able to find, into the bunny's open mouth. The bunny chokes on it and passes out. Wesley's skin changes to an intense pink.
Fred covers a smirk with one hand and watches him. "I don't think you are manly enough to pull it off," she says.
When Wesley sees his reflection in the glass he nods in agreement.
