She had always been a very open person. To say she was spiritual would be an understatement.
She believed that there were powers in the universe, powers that she was in tune with. There were forces, supernatural in origin, that could not be explained by science or any other means. Most anything was possible.
In a sense, she had built her life around her beliefs. They were who she was and they were the cause of her actions. Each and every thing she did was a by-product of them.
Taking all of that into account, a job on the X files was a perfect fit for her. It was her dream job.
She didn't expect to have trouble adjusting to the idea that there were life forms on other planets, though. Aliens. And the mere idea of super soldiers was something right out of science fiction.
Was it real? Was any of it real?
She figured she'd find out soon enough.
