ARGH! Writing troubles. You know what they are tonight? No? I guess that means there are no psychics on my flist..

*cough* Erm. Anyway.

I have come to the realisation that a lot of the time when I'm stuck on what to write these days, it's because I have so many characters to choose from (and I'm constantly jumping between fandoms) that it's just too hard!

Does anyone know of any sites where you can create your own word/prompt generator? I used to have a link for one and it was amazing. Might give me some direction if I can make one up to generate which character to write for, you know? Yeaah.

Should be heading off now anyway (note the "should be" part of that sentence). *hugs flist*

Hey, I don't have a link but how do you do your layouts? They're always changing (and always very pretty!). Do create the layout yourself?

Layouts I do by looking up layout comms on LJ and following their instructions.

Headers.. you just go in and change the headerimage code in the CSS custom thing from the layout code you got at whatever comm. That's just me though.. Sometimes make my own headers, mostly though I just snurch others and credit in my profile.

I know plenty of pre-made generators but not one you build yourself. I googled a bit 'cause I like a challenge now and again.

This site says you need to use php which is beyond me, I don't know about your skills...

This site has a script ready to go where you plug in the source text (eg a book on gutenberg) so if your text was all in one file it might work.

This is apparantly more difficult than I would have thought or you'd like. Hope someone comes up with better solutions :(

Uhh, shame. Yeah I've seen plenty as well of pre-made ones.. Guess I'll have to go old-school if I want anything really like that and put names on slips of paper in a hat or something.
