"...feel the darkness crawl through my mind, out of reach but still calling, i can't get to you..."

+ I'm feeling a lot better about things and so am returning to the land of LJ. In saying that I still have 5 assignments to finish in the next 2 weeks so my LJ time will still be limited for awhile and most posts will likely be uni rants and procrastinating.

+ Didn't sleep at all last night. And now? I don't want to sleep. Not yet. I've given myself this afternoon off but have to get back into things tomorrow so the sooner I go to sleep, the sooner I have to wake up and get into assignmenhts again.. Meh. I will get sleep soon. Really need it.

+ Castle and House MD finales? OMG!epic! House had me in tears through most of it and giddy for a certain scene which I keep rewatching and Castle.. at the end there? Ouch! So very awesome, both of them! ♥

+ This song ("My One Mistake" by Rex Goudie) reminds me of Tony/Kate. Pretty sure I saw a vid with them to it awhile back. I miss those two. Anyone got any fic for them to rec?

+ Writing has been going slowly again. Still every night though, so that's all that matters. The lecture today for my Novel & Memoir class has inspired me to look around and try to submit some more of my writing to be published when the holidays come around. Short stories, maybe some more poetry. Hopefully it goes well. I'll also be looking for writing competitions and such. If you know any good ones I'd really appreciate links. ;)

+ Shows of the moment: House MD, Castle, Lie To Me, Leverage, Firefly, Miss Match and Dawsons Creek. What're yours?

I don't like Twilight, actually the huge hype around it - I never like movies or shows that are praised to heaven and there's hysteria generated around them, so you can'tturn anywhere without bumping into it -, so I was sceptical about the show before the pilot, but then I slowly but surely became more and more intrigued by it. Ian Somerhalder's awesome acting and his hotness were great help with it. ;-)

I understand. The hype is what mainly turned me off about it. I read the first book. I did like it, but then the second book happened... then the third... and the fourth, and I looked around me and groaned 'cause I had no one to talk to (who had read the books, all four) about the crazy stupid in those books without starting up an argument.

I'm not anti-Twilight... I'm just non-Twilight. There's a difference.

XD And, yes, Ian's what draw me into the show, too, so I know where you're coming from, m'dear, but it took me a WHILE to warm up to Elena. I'm still not fully there, but at least I admire her cojones.
