Epicness! :D
May. 27th, 2010 01:21 amMy Persuasive Writing lecturer is awesome. :D
Avast Ye, Me Hearties,
A couple of people have asked if the lecture and tutorials will run tomorrow. The answer: of course. The lecture will offer an overview of the semester, some further thoughts, and a chance to ask questions about the final assessment. Tutorials will run as normal and cover the Persuading Consumers lecture material.
The LEX response rate is not so brilliant (21.7%, in fact). LEX is open for your thoughts, feedback, and opinions until Monday, 31 May.
Alan McKee is threatening to kill kittens if the LEX response rate for his unit does not hit 40%. My dislike of cats makes such a threat not so useful.
However, what I can do is use bulk email to subscribe everyone in Persuasive Writing to Reader’s Digest.
Can anyone contemplate without horror a lifetime of special offers, envelopes featuring ‘You May Have Already Won!’, and the promise of tacky gifts?
It grieves me to be moved to such extremes.
If you have questions (including about the gift that you may have already won), get in touch with me.
Glen
