Cheesecake

This will probably sound odd, but I'd kill for some steamed broccoli right about now.

A little odd, yes. I've never had an overwhelming craving for broccoli but it is definitely one of my favourite vegies.

:P I guess it's cuz I haven't had any for.. many months now. Usually I don't crave it either.

Tis awesome! Definitely NOT with butter though. I like it steamed just enough that it's bendy and slightly softer, but not mushy, if that makes sense? Still needs a bit of crunchyness.

[identity profile] luxuria-oceanus.livejournal.com 2010-06-25 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
See, I like it mushy, but only if I'm going to mash it with potatoes (mashed potatoes with broccoli also mashed in is pretty good, actually) or crunchy, but cooked. It can be slightly softer, but not too soft that it kind of breaks between my fingertips and I can eat it without butter, but it tastes so much better with *.*

I think I know what kind of bendy you mean, m'dear---probably the same as mine XD

That's not odd. That's some good stuff.

Definitely without. I really don't see the appeal of with butter.
