I lost my USB stick. The one that has all of my uni stuff and the beginnings of two assignments - none of which I backed up, as usually, I would. Am past freaking out (after several hours) and am beginning to start from scratch with stuff now. I'm just glad I still have my notes to work off!
Meanwhile, house hunting has gone more or less smoothly so far. Zach and I put in applications for one place today, so we'll find out by Thursday if we get it or not. *crosses fingers* I'll be extremely happy if we get the place, though at the same time depressed by my bank account figures going down to nearly nothing.. In any case, I'm trying to not get my hopes up and am trying to focus back on study.
Not at Zach's tonight and he's not at mine.. which is the first time in awhile. We've spent so much time together lately that it's super odd to be back at Ipswich, on my own. Not too hell-ish or anything though. Been talking with Bec a fair bit, which has been nice. I've also spent a few hours panicking over my lost USB (not quite as nice) and am now getting into study (and also snacking on random food items - whatever I can find in the fridge that hasn't expired :P). So yeah. USB loss aside, not a bad night.
Wow. I didn't mean to write an actual entire post! The plan was to write that I lost my USB and assignment parts.. and that was all. Guess I had a little more on my mind to share with you guys.
Oh! And while I remember, the past few nights I've been getting a bit more sleep. Pills from the doctors I've seen have been varied amounts of helpful. Mostly I've found just having Zach there, helps a lot. And cold & flu tablets at the moment, as without them I can barely breathe and sleep is nearly impossible then. :P So. Basically, improvements with sleep. Not a solid 8 hours a night, but enough that I'm not feeling as crappy as I've felt throughout the majority of August/start September.
How're you all going? I'll try to glance over my flist for a bit soon, but can't promise comments on every entry. Comment!updates are very welcome if you have something you'd like to share.

Yeah thanks, tomorrow is my "long" day, 3 hr lab in the morning then a 4 hr break then my late afternoon or early evening lecture! :( And I've still got to finish (read do the majority of) my presentation for Friday... *sigh*

Even if my presentation sucks (its only a small one that we *then* have to do an essay on on top of!) there have been a few presentations which were 'meh'. One girl was so nervous and she kept saying in the middle of things 'sorry don't know how to explain it better...' she was confident like no 'um...buts' but she kind of danced everywhere and lost track a few times. Even if I do something really basic and dry I shouldn't lose too many marks...I hope.

So the matching earring to a missing one, or another usb stick in this case. Place it on your altar if you have one or in a nice dish or similar. Might be worth a try :)

And, it's good that you're getting some sleep. In all honesty, any sleep is better than not getting any. And I think because you're also having a cold/flu, it's making it harder to sleep coz of breathing issues. But, once that hurdle is over, you'll be alright. :)
