I'm going to switch to my laptop, leave the interwebs disconnected from it and see what I can come up with before bed in about 20 mins.

On another note, flist cutting is so depressing. Apologies to the 110-ish who I de-friended. My flist was insanely huge and I've not been able to keep up to date with it properly in far too long!

I am still living in October, November will start in about 7 hours over here. But I can really start writing on the 4th, since I have an exam for that day and I need to pass it!

I just wrote part of my story outline on my door. I am SO unprepared! But I am going tow write a mystery/detective novel called Sharp Edges. I only know my MC last name, which is Sharp. LOL! Suggestions for first names are welcome! :D

Like the sound of your novel so far. I'm doing the same genre. A crime writer acts out crimes for inspiration. First names. .hmm. Try a baby name & meanings site via google and look up various meanings you'd like your char to have. Just did that with my chars. :)

Aw! I have four hours 'til NaNo so I'm outlining the plot I wanna use, and then hopefully I'll still be up at midnight to start writing ;).

And uh, I don't know, so far what I'm writing is kind of a holiday story, I guess? Thanksgiving and elves and 'miracles' and stuff :p.

I went to my very first NaNo kickoff party today, hoping that if I hang out with like minded folks doing the same thing, I may get inspired to actually finish a novel. :) I'll be writing an original novel this year. At least going to try to write that novel.

And after reading that you cut 110-ish friends, I can only marvel at how you were able to keep up at all! And I totally understand about the issue of cutting people being hard. I've been wanting to cut a few people on my own list for awhile now, but unable to do so thus far. You are not one of those I wanted to cut though, so if you don't mind, I'd still like to hang out to read your journal?

Yeah, flist cutting is always depressing. I always feel so bad about it, because I know how horrible it is to be cut. I can only hope that I didn't make any mistakes that can't be reversed in cutting certain people and such, if that makes sense? Adding you back again.

I just started my first NaNo and I'm 4 pages in thus far. I need to write about 1600 words a day to make it to the 50,000 word goal. *makes angry writer's face*

4 pages is a great start. XD It's more like 1,670 words a day to get to the 50K. If you google "NaNo calendars" there should be some shiny pics you can use as your desktop wall for Nov.. shows where you should be at each day. ;)
