I signed up for the same one. As much as I'd like to do one of the higher ones, running 3 land comms (and various normal ones) does not permit anything higher.

Yeah, I know what you mean. That was my last year (but swap land comms for uni and RL crazy). Better to go for a target we're more likely to reach.

And yes, the 150k pledge would be pretty much a cake walk, but with my internet issue I'm a little leery of my ability to do the monthly check-ins. =/ Left a question with the mods regarding that concern, after I hear back I'll decide on whether or not I sign up. ♥

Hmm, I think I'm gonna have to pass this year. I'm really not confident I'd be able to keep up on the check-in's, so instead of joining up and failing out I'm going to pass. ♥

BUT I will put the comm on watch and hopefully by this time next year my internet issues will be resolved. XD

It's awesome fun and it's a great motivator.. and zomg, yes with the signing up! ;) You only have your sanity to lose anyway, and sanity is overrated.

Iiiii don't know. It's really tempting. I think I'll give it another two or three days to think it over. Because if I end up not reaching my goal, I'll be terribly disappointed in myself.

Just keep at it and you'll do great. :) Don't worry too much about actually reaching the goal.. just focus on writing the daily word count each day. Looking at it in smaller bits like that is what helped me get as much as I did in previous years. :)

Good plan. Yeah, I think my issue is definitely continuity. I have these days and weeks when I write loads, and then I just stop for months sometimes. That won't do at all. ;) But I already know that I won't make the daily word count. I have days when I'm at uni from early in the morning to late in the afternoon, plus the commute and, you know, living, all that makes it impossible to write on a daily basis, but I'll definitely try to get somewhere.

Yay you! That's fantastic news!! You are going to make that goal with no problems whatsoever. You ALWAYS seem to be writing. :)

Thank you lol. Yeah, it will be awesome. :) Hopefully this year I won't have to drop out.. Last year got a bit insane with uni and RL and I couldn't keep up with the check-ins.
